Mερικά παράπονα χρηστών απο το download.com που μιλούν για ad-aware κτλ...

I Downloaded it, installed it and within one minute of installation being complete my anti virus software detected virus's on my PC: 1stbar.4.H x2 Revop.C Agent.AL Dyfica.2.AA +50 adware files Adware is one thing, virus's are another. Do NOT download this if you value your PC and don't want to spend the best part of an hour removing the nasty programs that come with Happy Search.

Stay clear of this product. I installed this junk then did a scan with adaware, found 80+ malware and spyware components. My system was free of malware and spyware before installing this programme.

NEWS FLASH: Happy Search, MP3 Kult, MP3 Plus 1.0, Kool Music, Easy Media, and all the other MP3 search engines around 4.7 MB in size on download.com are ALL FAKE PROGRAMS. They DON'T WORK and they install SPYWARE on your machine. Their user opinions are all fakes; read the reviews for yourself, each of these programs has the exact same reviews. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT download. And download.com, you should really remove this program from your list.

I installed this program, after reading others say that it didn't install a bunch of garbage, WHAT A BUNCH OF GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!! I ran Bazooka scanner after installing this and found like 6 different kinds of spyware, adaware took care of all but 2 of them, but don't install this unless you want to spend about a half hour cleaning up the garbage this installs. (don't know how well it works, never got past the spyware :P)

Γιατί ψάχνετε προγράμμα τελείως άγνωστα ακόμα και για αυτούς που έχουν φάει το P2P με το κουτάλι.

Παντως εγω χρησιμοποιω το HappySearch εδω και κανενα μηνα και δεν εχω προβλημα... Η αληθεια ειναι οτι μετα το install ειχε καποια spyware προγραμματα αλλα με τα antispyware εργαλεια που εχω τα "πεταξα εξω" απο το συστημα μου... :cool:

εδώ θα διαφωνήσω λιγάκι. προσωπικά πάντα κοιτάζω ότι νέο βγαίνει μια και το dc++ που έπιασα στα χερια μου το 2002 το ήξεραν ελάχιστοι Έλληνες τουλάχιστον....

 

Δεν αντιλέγω, καλό είναι να ψάχνεις. Αλλά είναι μικρή η πιθανότητα να σε καλύψει κάποιο πρόγραμμα που μόλις λανσαρίστηκε σε μεγαλύτερο βαθμό απ' ότι κάποιο κυρίαρχο στο χώρο...

Perry said that some programs that have been labeled pests have been given that name because it is not yet clear to the computer world what exactly spyware is. It seems every different anti-spyware program you download has differences in what it classes as spyware. Kazaa coming somewhere in the list was not a surprise but many could argue that it didn't deserve the #1 spot. You can download clean versions of Kazaa called Kazaa Lite (Resurrection) and Diet Kazaa.

Θα συμφωνίσω κι εγώ πως αποτελεί ίσως την επανάσταση στο p2p χώρο.

Αυτά που θα ήθελα να ρωτήσω είναι τα εξής:

1) Τι ρόλο παίζει ο "tracker" στα torrent;

2) Έχω το shareaza και δεν έχω ορίσει όλο το εύρος του bandwidth στο upload , αλλά ένα μέρος. Αυτό επιρρεάζει την ταχύτητα των download στα torrents;

3) Η ταχύτητα του download (σε κάποιο αρχείο torrent) υπάρχει περίπτωση να βελτιωθεί αν χρησιμοποιήσω κάποιο άλλο πρόγραμμα πλήν του shareaza; Κάτι άκουσα για ratio και οτι το διαχειρήσεται το bit torrent software αλλά δεν έχω βρεί κάτι αντίστοιχο στο shareaza.

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι στο Soulseek βρίσκεις πολύ περισσότερη μουσική από οποιαδήποτε άλλο πρόγραμμα p2p :music:
