Μπράβο στην Areeba που οδηγεί στον ανταγωνισμό!!!

 

Καλορίζικο το 3G δίκτυο! Δεν νομίζω σε καμμιά άλλη χώρα το 3G να βγήκε πρώτο από μία εταιρεία που δεν έχει κλείσει καλά καλά τρίμηνο εμπορικής λειτουργίας!

 

Και πάλι πολλά μπράβο στην Areeba!!!

Δεν ξέρω αν διαβάσατε στο τελευταίο weekly της smartpress ότι οι μεγάλοι δεν είναι και τόσο πρόθυμοι να δώσουν φάσμα στον Χατζηιωάννου, σε αντίθεση με την μικρή Q η οποία ενδιαφέρεται και μάλιστα έχει προηγηθεί και συνάντηση Χατζηιωάννου με τον πρόεδρό της...

 

Το θέμα είναι: συμφέρει μια συμφωνία Easymobile με Q τη στιγμή που η δεύτερη είναι από μόνη της μερικώς ένας MVNO;

 

Θα βρει η Easy εταιρεία πρόθυμη να την φιλοξενήσει (π.χ. Cosmote) και αν όχι θα είναι συμφέρον (για την Q, την Easy και τον Έλληνα καταναλωτή) μία συμφωνία Easy-Q που ουσιαστικά θα οδηγήσει στην μετονομασία της Q (γιατί δίκτυο σύντομα και με ικανοποιητική κάλυψη για να στηρίξει και MVNO δεν βλέπω)...

...Σκέφτηκα να το αναφέρω εδώ τελικά το "κόλπο" για χρήση από κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο.

 

Ας είναι καλά ο φίλος Νικόλας (rigasnic) που είχε αναφέρει την JustDial σε παλιότερα post εδώ πριν καν έρθω Αγγλία.

 

Παρακάτω θα σας εξηγήσω, για όσους δεν το ξέρουν, πως να πραγματοποιείτε κλήσεις προς Ελλάδα (σταθερά, όχι κινητά, μην ξεχνιόμαστε) κάθε μήνα μέσω συμβολαίου της Ο2 , και αυτές να αφαιρούνται από τα συνολικά σας λεπτά (είτε αυτά είναι 100,200, 100*2 ή 200*2 λόγω προσφοράς, είτε...περισσότερα) κάθε μήνα, χωρίς καμία, εγγυημένα, επιπλέον χρέωση .

 

Η διαδικασία είναι απλή:

 

α) Κάνετε σύνδεση με την Ο2, κρατώντας το ήδη υπάρχον νούμερο σας από άλλη εταιρία (απλά λέτε "I want to port in my existing number to O2" όταν κάνετε σύνδεση) ή με νέο νούμερο αν δεν έχετε άλλο που ήδη χρησιμοποιείτε. Η σύνδεση μπορεί να γίνει σε οποιοδήποτε μαγαζί, όμως, προσοχή, δεν προσφέρουν όλα τα μαγαζιά τις ίδιες τιμές - Το Siemens S65 μου το βρήκα δωρεάν σε πρόγραμμα 25 λιρών το μήνα σε ένα μαγαζί, και σε...35 σε άλλο (στο 25 έκανε τουλάχιστον 60 λίρες για να το πάρεις).

 

β) Η σύνδεση ενεργοποιείται εντός μίας ώρας . Αν φέρνετε το νούμερο σας από αλλού, σε 10 μέρες θα μεταφερθεί αυτόματα . Μέχρι τότε, θα έχετε ένα προσωρινό νούμερο από την Ο2 που καλό είναι να μην το δώσετε πουθενά γιατί σε 10 μέρες...θα καταργηθεί. Καλή λύση αν δεν έχετε κινητό με 2 SIM είναι να έχετε το παλιό σας νούμερο στο παλιό κινητό και το προσωρινό στο καινούργιο, και να κυκλοφορείτε...με 2 κινητά (Δεν είναι ότι καλύτερο, αλλά δεν είναι και μόνιμο!).

 

γ) Μετά από περίπου μια μέρα (ίσως λιγότερο, ίσως περισσότερο) στο προσωρινό σας νούμερο θα καταφτάσουν οι κωδικοί για να μπαίνετε στην σελίδα της Ο2 και να βλέπετε τον τρέχοντα λογαριασμό σας / χρήση (e-billing)

 

δ) Από τη στιγμή που λειτουργεί το προσωρινό σας νούμερο, μπορείτε με την ακόλουθη διαδικασία να καλείτε σε οποιοδήποτε σταθερό (δεν ξέρω για 211 κτλ...) Ελλάδας χρησιμοποιώντας τα ΔΩΡΕΑΝ λεπτά σας!

 

ε) Επισκέπτεστε το site της Justdial ( http://www.just-dial.com ) ή οποιασδήποτε άλλης εταιρίας παρέχει αντίστοιχη υπηρεσία και (βασικό) χρεώνει ΣΤΑΝΤΑΡ χρέωση (Αυτή είναι "National call" για τα νούμερα 0870 και περίπου 5p για τα 084* -ΔΕΝ ΚΑΛΕΙΤΕ 09* ΟΤΙ ΚΑΙ ΝΑ ΓΙΝΕΙ - Αν η χρέωση για το 0870* ή 0844* δεν είναι στάνταρ αλλά αυξημένη για κάποιο λόγο, θα χρεωθείτε κανονικά οπότε προσοχή - Σίγουρα λειτουργεί για την Justdial και τους μεταπωλητές της.)

 

στ) Καλείτε το νούμερο που αναφέρει για Ελλάδα , 0870* για καθημερινές και 0844* για Σαββατοκύριακα)

 

ζ) Μιας και στην Ο2 φαίνεται ότι κάνετε κλήση σε 08** (με εθνική ή αστική κλήση) εσείς δεν χρεώνεστε τίποτα παραπάνω !

 

η) Αφού καλέσετε το νούμερο, αμέσως μετά παίρνετε 00302********* (νούμερο σταθερού που θέλετε) και σας συνδέει. Αν θέλετε, βάζετε και στο κινητό μετά το νούμερο 0870 'η 0844 και ένα + ή p και μετά 00302********* για να μην χάνετε...πολύτιμο χρόνο απ όταν σας συνδέσει με το 0870* ή το 0844*.

 

θ) Για το λόγου το αληθές, κοιτάξτε 2-3 μέρες μετά στο e-billing (βλέπε βήμα γ) ) όπου στον τομέα "Unbilled Calls" θα σας λέει την κλήση 0870* ως πληρωμένη από τα δωρεάν λεπτά σας, και καμία επιπλέον χρέωση! Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε τόσο τα δωρεάν λεπτά όσο και τυχόν προσφορές (π.χ. τους πρώτους Χ μήνες διπλάσια δωρεάν λεπτά) εκεί.

 

θii) Μόνο μειονέκτημα? Αν δεν απαντήσει το σταθερό που παίρνετε...χρεώνεστε κάπου 10'' τα οποία έχουν αφαιρεθεί από τα δωρεάν λεπτά. (Όχι ότι θα σας πειράξει ιδιαίτερα όταν γενικά ο τρόπος ισχύει και είναι ωραίος...)

 

ι) Σημειώσεις για τις συνδέσεις της Ο2 :

 

* Περίπου 15 μέρες μετά τη σύνδεση θα χρεωθεί ο πρώτος σας λογαριασμός, στον λογαριασμό τράπεζας (Direct Debit) ή στην πιστωτική κάρτα που δηλώσατε κατά την εγγραφή

 

*Απαραίτητα πιστοποιητικά για εγγραφή : Διαβατήριο, πρόσφατος λογαριασμός με το όνομα σας πάνω (π.χ. ρεύματος / τηλεφώνου) ή Bank Statement ή Credit Card Statement, και για καλύτερα αποτελέσματα κάρτα τραπέζας (Mastercard σίγουρα παίρνουν, για επιβεβαίωση υπογραφής, ίσως να παίρνουν και Switch / Solo ρωτήστε πριν πάτε)

 

*Θα χρειαστείτε ένα κωδικό PAC από το δίκτυο που ήδη είστε για να φύγετε από εκεί και να πάτε στην Ο2. Με ένα τηλεφώνημα σας το δίνουν, και έχει ισχύ χρήσης ένα μήνα. Μπορείτε να μεταφέρετε νούμερο από καρτοκινητό ή σύνδεση (αρκεί να κόψετε την άλλη σύνδεση χεχεχε) και από όλες τις εταιρίες - Είναι υποχρεωμένες από το νόμο .

 

*Αν έχετε Ο2 δεν μπορείτε να στείλετε ή να λάβετε SMS από την Q-Telecom , κάτι που προσωπικά δεν με αφορά.

 

*Αν βάλετε κάποιο πακέτο, προτιμήστε των 30 λιρών και άνω (εκτός αν υπάρχει κάποια συγκλονιστική προσφορά) γιατί έχει τις εξής διαφορές από τα κατώτερα: Τα εναπομείναντα δωρεάν λεπτά μεταφέρονται στον επόμενο μήνα (rollover), ο τηλεφωνητής είναι δωρεάν και δεν χρεώνεται (έστω και στα δωρεάν λεπτά όπως στα μικρότερα πακέτα), και συμπεριλαμβάνεται αυτόματα το International Traveller Service στο πακέτο σας -στα μικρότερα πακέτα κοστίζει 3 λίρες το μήνα - Τι κάνει αυτό? Μειώνει την χρέωση για Ελλάδα και άλλες χώρες από 90 (!) πένες το λεπτό στις 14 - Μιλάω για απευθείας κλήση και όχι με τον τρόπο που αναφέρω πιο πάνω-, και τα μηνύματα από 16 πένες τα πάει 12- (για Ελλάδα και ξένες χώρες γενικά).

 

*Για όσους χρησιμοποιήσουν τα e-billing που ανέφερα στο γ), την ημέρα που θα μεταφερθεί το νούμερο σας από την άλλη εταιρία, δεν θα βλέπετε τίποτα ως χρήση (ακόμα και αν έχετε ήδη μιλήσει...300 λεπτά). Μην ανησυχείτε, σε 1-2 μέρες μετά θα επανέλθουν όλες οι κλήσεις σας, τόσο αυτές με το προσωρινό νούμερο όσο και με το νέο (μόνιμο) από την άλλη εταιρία.

 

*Τα συμβόλαια είναι, σωστά μαντέψατε, 12μηνα σε ισχύ . Με την πάροδο των μηνών μπορείτε να πάρετε επιδότηση και να το ξάνα-ανανεώσετε για άλλο τόσο.

 

* Αν θελήσετε να αλλάξετε πακέτο, και έχετε προσφορά π.χ. διπλάσια δωρεάν λεπτά για κάποιο διάστημα, κατά πάσα πιθανότητα η προσφορά ΧΑΝΕΤΑΙ . Έτσι την πάτησα εγώ και δεν μπορώ να πάω στο πακέτο 30 λιρών από 25 για τα πλεονεκτήματα που αναφέρω πιο πάνω, πριν περάσουν οι 3 μήνες με τα 2* δωρεάν λεπτά μου.

 

*Με την πάροδο 6 μηνών πάτε σε ό,τι πακέτο θέλετε (χαμηλότερο). Σε ψηλότερα από τον επόμενο μήνα αν θέλετε.

 

* Με τα δωρεάν SMS (Από 50 το μήνα και άνω εντός Αγγλίας) στέλνετε και δωρεάν MMS, το ένα MMS καταναλώνει 4 δωρεάν SMS.

 

*Ως συνδρομητής της Ο2 έχετε 10 δωρεάν SMS...το μήνα (οκ δεν είναι πολλά) σε οποιοδήποτε Αγγλικό κινητό από την σελίδα τους. Μπορείτε να αγοράσετε κι άλλα (που δεν θα έχουν διαφήμιση στο τέλος του μηνύματος σας) με τιμές συχνά χαμηλότερες από τα κανονικά μηνύματα μέσω κινητού - Βέβαια με τόσα δωρεάν το μήνα, τι να τα κάνεις?!

 

*Αν σας βοήθησαν οι παραπάνω πληροφορίες, είτε για να κάνετε νέα σύνδεση είτε για τις δωρεάν κλήσεις (τα ίδια, εκτός των κλήσεων, ισχύουν πάνω-κάτω για όλες τις εταιρίες), και είστε καλοί άνθρωποι, πρασινίστε το κάρμα μου . :) :D

 

(Αν θέλει κάποιος να το κάνει επισημασμένο με οδηγίες για σύνδεση, κανένα πρόβλημα από μένα... :) ).

Προσοχη ομως, μπορει στις αλλες εταιριες τα 08 να χρεωνονται. ΠΧ στην Orange χρεωνονται και δεν συμπεριλαμβανονται στα Free minutes!

Δεν γνωρίζω για άλλες εταιρίες Chris, και γω τυχαία το ανακάλυψα! Πάντως σίγουρα η T-mobile (Και μάλλον και η Orange) τα χρεώνουν κανονικά...Δεν ξέρω η Vodafone τι κάνει.

Η orange 100% τα χρεωνει, το εγραψα και πιο πανω, εχω Orange συμβολαιο και με εχει χρεωσει 1-2 τηλεφωνηματα που εκανα σε 0844 και 0870(1 μηνα πριν). Καπου στα 10p/min θυμαμαι..

Network

Orange has the UK’s broadest integrated 2G/3G network, with 70% of the population covered by its 3G network, ensuring that even if customers move out of 3G coverage, they will not lose connection to the network. Orange has 3G coverage in major cities including London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol, Belfast, Glasgow, Sheffield, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Leeds, as well as popular locations such as business parks, mainline intercity railway stations, motorway service stations, airports, conference centres, and hotels.

 

Handsets

Orange World

Entertainment and information services include Sky News video feeds (updated every five hours); exclusive video clips from the Star Wars films (including previews of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith); film trailers and movie clips from The Incredibles, Shrek and other cinema blockbusters; music and ringtone downloads from Warner music, EMI, BMG, Universal Music, Ministry of Sound; console-style games including Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, EA Sports™ FIFA 2005 and Tiger Woods PGA® Tour 2005; exclusive inside access to Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool as well as a host of other football clubs; and practical applications such as Traffic TV. The service, launched exclusively by Orange and developed in conjunction with Trafficmaster and regional road transport agencies, gives customers a comprehensive picture of traffic conditions on the UK's motorways and trunk roads and direct access to video of road conditions from selected motorway CCTV cameras across the UK.

 

Email and Internet access

While Orange World contains a vast amount of news, information and entertainment, customers are not restricted to the portal – they have easy access to mobile email and the mobile Internet, which includes sites such as Google, BBC, Amazon, Ebay and Eurosport.

 

Orange customers can also use their new 3G handset as a modem, enabling them to access the Internet via their laptop. While all of the handsets can be used as a modem via a USB cable, many offer completely wirefree connection, through infrared and Bluetooth™.

 

Orange Video Calling

Orange’s 3G offering also provides new ways for customers to communicate with each other. The Orange Video Calling service comes with Orange Video Answerphone, allowing customers to leave a more personal, expressive message.

 

Tariffs

Orange has developed a set of “early adopter” tariffs, giving its first 3G customers a chance to experience all of these exciting new next generation services – such as video calling and 3G film clips. Until the end of January 2005, customers can sign up to a 12 month contract from just £30 a month. As well as voice minutes and texts, the monthly charge includes access to Orange World, email and the Internet (up to 50mb), as well as 60 minutes of free video calls per month. (see appendix below for more information on pricing).

 

Dedicated Customer services

Orange believes educating and supporting customers will be essential to the success of these new services. Therefore Orange has developed a dedicated customer services support team to help customers get the most out of their new handset and services. Customers simply dial the new number from their Orange 3G phone for free 24 hour customer service. Over 2,000 Orange Phone Trainers are also on hand in Orange shops nationwide to demonstrate the benefits of 3G to customers and help them with any questions they may have. Once a customer has purchased a phone, they will also configure the handset for email and personalise their Orange World home page.

 

Roaming and interoperability

Orange UK customers will also be able to use 3G services in seven other countries – France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Finland, Austria – with more being added over the coming months. Orange customers can already use voice and text services on 357 networks in 148 countries worldwide.

 

Orange 3G services will also be interoperable with all other UK operators who have launched 3G services, meaning that customers can make video calls and send content to friends over 3G, even if they are on a different 3G network.

 

Bernard Ghillebaert added: “We’re launching with the UK’s broadest integrated 3G network, exciting new services, unique and personalised content through Orange World, dedicated customer support and more handsets than anyone else has offered on the first day of launch.”

Παιδιά, σπουδάζω στην Ολλανδία και πριν από μερικές

μέρες έγινα συνδρομητής στην T-Mobile Ολλανδίας.

Το δίκτυο αυτό δεν υποστηρίζει ελληνικούς χαρακτήρες κατα την

αποστολή sms. Στέλνω δηλαδή μήνυμα και ο παραλήπτης

λαμβάνει τα γράμματα που συμπίπτουν με τους αντίστοιχους λατινικούς

χαρακτήρες, αλλά γράμματα όπως θ, ξ, σ, λ όχι.

Προσπάθησα με δύο κινητά (Nokia 7250, Samsung v200) αλλά

το αποτέλεσμα το ίδιο..

Έχει κανείς εμπειρία με το ίδιο πρόβλημα;

Κινητά με unicode υπάρχουν ακόμη; Tα Sony Ericson έχουν unicode;

Το πρόβλημα έιναι ότι τους πήρα τηλέφωνο και δεν είχαν ιδέα..

Μάλιστα ο τύπος πήγε να μου πουλήσει ότι κανένα δίκτυο στην

Ολλανδία δεν υποστηρίζει ελληνικούς χαρακτήρες, πράγμα

βλακεία βέβαια, αφού πριν είχα KPN Telecom και Vodafone και ήταν

όλα μιά χαρά. Τον ρώτησα για unicode και δεν είχε καν ξανακούσει

τον όρο.. Καταλαβαίνεις λοιπόν.

Τέλος πάντων, ένας χρόνος είναι, θα περάσει με greeklish.

Επειδη θα ειμαι για 10 ημερες στη ΝΥ θελω να παρω 2 prepaid καρτες για να μιλαω τοπικα με τη γυναικα μου και φιλους εκει. Ποια εταιρεια μου συστηνετε και ποιο προγραμμα? Σε αυτα τα πακετα εχουν καμμια συσκευη σε καλη τιμη? Βασικα θα κανω ομιλια, sms, και ισως και κανενα GPRS (αν βγαλω ακτη με ρυθμισεις). Λογικα οι συσκευες 6630, 600, Τ610, κλπ θα παιζουν εκει. (???)

Επίσης παιδιά ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ! Η ο2 in store δεν τα χρεώνει αλλά η ο2 online χρεώνει τις κλήσεις προς 0844 (δηλαδή δεν τις συμπεριλαμβάνει στα free minutes). Oποτε αν πάτε για συμβόλαιο ο2 κάντε το σε κατάστημα της ο2 και όχι Online (δεν ξέρω αν παίζει και τιποτα διαφορετικά με τα Carphonewarehouse, Link etc).
