Vodafone is lowering its prices by up to 27 per cent . These price reductions apply to all Vodafone consumer subscriptions available in the market for new and existing customers. All Vodafone customers on the consumer subscriptions Vodafone 60, Vodafone 60 Young Edition or Vodafone 120 can as of February 1st 2004 make calls for only SEK 0.30 per minute evenings and weekends to other Vodafone customers and the fixed network - a reduction of 25 per cent. Daytime call prices to other operators are also being reduced to SEK 3.90. The price of SMSs is also being cut by 27 per cent to SEK 1.10 each. This price applies to SMS's sent to any network in Sweden. Customers can also choose any of four SMS packages that can take the rate down to only SEK 0.75 per SMS to any network in Sweden. "These latest price reductions are part of Vodafone's commitment to offering our customers good value for money. We value our existing customers and are pleased to pass on these savings to them without the need to change their tariff", said Geraldine Wilson, Chief Commercial Officer at Vodafone Sweden. With the Vodafone 60 subscription, mobile users get 60 free call minutes each month to the fixed network and to other Vodafone customers evenings and weekends, and with Vodafone 120 and Vodafone 60 Young Edition customers get a full 120 free call minutes at the same terms. January 27, 2004 Απ' ότι "φαίνεται" η Voda θα "χτυπήσει" την ΑΤ&Τ Wireless είτε κρατώντας το 20% (από 45% σήμερα) της Verizon Wireless είτε θα "αποχωρήσει" από τη Verizon! Η Verizon είναι "πονοκέφαλος" για τη Vodafone αφού είναι "ασύμβατη" με το δίκτυο GSM, με αποτέλεσμα οι συνδρομητές του Voda Group να μην μπορούν να roam(άρουν) :blink: στην Αμερική. Τα νέα "Vf πρότυπα" (εμπορική πολιτική σε handsets - Mobile Office) της Voda... περιλαμβάνουν "τεχνολογικά" και την Αμερική (στη Verizon δε θα ήταν δυνατό να "τρέξουν")... μήπως επομένως είχαν προβλέψει την επέκτασή τους στην AT&T ΠΟΛΥ νωρίτερα? ;) Πληροφορίες μου από τη Merrill Lynch ... που έχει αναλάβει το όλο εγχείρημα λένε ότι η Voda "τρώγεται" να αποκτήσει την AT&T. Γιατί? Γιατί η Cingular Wireless είναι ο επόμενος υποψήφιος αγοραστής! Αυτό πρακτικά σημαίνει ότι η Cingular θα "ελέγχει" το 30% των ασύρματων επικοινωνιών της Αμερικής... πράγμα που η Voda δεν επιθυμεί! Το αστείο της όλης υπόθεσης είναι η ΝΤΤ DoCoMo! Το 16% της AT&T Wireless ανήκει στον Ιαπωνικό κολοσσό! Οι ίδιες "πηγές" λένε ότι η Voda θα επιθυμούσε την αποχώρηση της DoCoMo ( ένας θα κυριαρχήσει :wacko: ) ... προς το παρόν στο "τραπέζι" των διαπραγματεύσεων η ΝΤΤ δεν έχει εκφράσει την επιθυμία της να "αποχωρήσει"! :p :p Σε περίπτωση που η Voda "αγοράσει" και το ποσοστό της NTT είναι πολύ πιθανό να "πουλήσει" και το 45% της Verizon! ... Από 539 που είχε σκέτη συσκευή, έπεσε στα 440! Έτσι λοιπόν δεν πρόκειται για κάποια προσφορά και επίσης δεν υπήρξε καμιά ενημέρωση στα καταστήματα για προσφορά!!! Απλώς πήγε ο ανανεωμένος τιμοκατάλογος με μειωμένη τιμή των Sharp GX20, Motorola V525 και Ericsson P800! Οπότε αν η πωλήτρια την οποία ρώτησες δεν βλέπει τηλεόραση και προτιμάει να περνάει αλλιώς τον ελεύθερο χρόνο της, είναι λογικό να μην ξέρει για κάποια "προσφορά"!
