Sony Ericsson K750 successor, with 5MP camera leaked Sony Ericsson are working on a successor to the immensely popular K750 handset - codenamed Kate, and to be park of the CyberShot line of handsets. As seen in the images below, it somewhat resembles the company's C902 handset, looks-wise. It should be announced later next month, and be available by the end of the year. Price-wise, it should retail in the region of €300. The M8800 should sport high-end features such as 8 megapixel autofocus camera, a large touchscreen display with a thumbable UI, quad-band GSM support and tri-band HSDPA. The Samsung M8800 won't have a hardware keyboard onboard. The full touch UI will offer improved thumbable music and photo interface. Unfortunately, there are no detailed specs yet - not even photos, so we can't saw much more. The only stuff that we do know however is that the Samsung M8800 will come with preinstalled Google Search & Maps, Accu Weather, and the latest Samsung CNN News & Sport app. Let's remind you that Samsung has another sweet 8 MP phone called Samsung i8510 INNOV8, which we recently previewed. HTC's Touch HD caught on video HTC recently announced its Touch HD handset - its main feature being the 800 x 480 (WVGA) 3.8" touchscreen.A video of the Touch HD has been posted on the video-sharing site, Youtube. In the video, which lasts at just over twelve minutes and a half, you get a detailed look at the high resolution screen, a quick look at the web browser, running in full-screen mode, a quick tour of the 5 MP camera, and maps application. T-Mobile to sell HTC phone running Android for $199 HTC's forthcoming Android-powered smartphone - known as the G1, and Dream, is to be sold on T-Mobile in the US, for $199, on a two-year contract.. The Dream/G1 is to be shown off at a press event, held in New York City, held on the 23rd of this month. Also, in somewhat of a surpring move - what with some handsets normally being delayed by a week, or two, the Dream/G1 is to actually be launched earlier than expected. It was initially set to launch on October 20th, but it's suggested to now launch on the 17th instead.
