Audi A3 TDI clubsport quattro: Παρόν και μέλλον σε racing πακέτο

Σχεδόν ένα χρόνο πριν την συμπλήρωση 20 ετών από το λανσάρισμα της τεχνολογίας TDI, η Audi ανοίγει τον κύκλο των "εορταστικών" εκδηλώσεων με την εμφάνιση του Α3 ΤDI clubsport Quattro, το οποίο θα παρουσιαστεί στην 27η ετήσια διοργάνωση Lake Worther Tour, στην Αυστρία.

 

 

 

Εμφανώς επηρεασμένο από τις αγωνιστικές καταβολές της φίρμας και την πορεία της στο DTM, το μοντέλο αδυνατεί να κρύψει τις σχεδιαστικές και άλλες επιρροές του οι οποίες αποτυπώνονται τόσο στην εμφάνιση όσο και στα μηχανικά του μέρη.

 

Με μήκος 4,254 μέτρα, πλάτος 1,825 και ύψος μόλις 1,385 μέτρα αυτό το A3 με τις θηριώδεις εισαγωγές αέρα στο μπροστινό τμήμα και την χαρακτηριστική αεροτομή στην τρίτη πόρτα πατά σε τροχούς 20 ιντσών -με ελαστικά διαστάσεων 265/30- οι οποίοι κρύβουν εξαπίστονες δαγκάνες και κεραμικά φρένα.

 

Κάτω από το καπό κυριαρχεί ο δίλιτρος TDI με σύστημα άμεσου ψεκασμού diesel που αποδίδει 224 ίππους και 450 Nm ροπής, τιμές που επιτρέπουν στο εκθεσιακό μοντέλο να επιταχύνει από στάση σε 6,6 δευτερόλεπτα ενώ η τελική του ταχύτητα φτάνει στα 240 χλμ./ώρα.

 

Η κίνηση μεταφέρεται και στους τέσσερις τροχούς μέσω κιβωτίου έξι σχέσεων με επιλογέα από αλουμίνιο, το σύστημα διεύθυνσης διαθέτει ηλεκτρική υποβοήθηση ενώ σύμφωνα με τον κατασκευαστή του η πίσω ανάρτηση τεσσάρων συνδέσμων ισορροπεί ιδανικά μεταξύ άνεσης(!) και δυναμικών χαρακτηριστικών λειτουργίας.

 

Πέρα από τα τετριμμένα, οι μηχανικοί της Audi θεωρούν ότι ο ήχος του Α3 ΤDI clubsport quattro αρκεί για να προϊδεάσει από μόνος του τον οδηγό για τις δυνατότητες του αυτοκινήτου.

 

Παρεμπιπτόντως ο τελευταίος έχει την δυνατότητα να διαμορφώσει με το πάτημα ενός κουμπιού την απόκριση του κινητήρα και τον ήχο του, να προσαρμόσει τον βαθμό υποβοήθησης του συστήματος διεύθυνσης στα γούστα του, να τροποποιήσει τις ρυθμίσεις των ηλεκτρονικών συστημάτων επιτήρησης της οδικής συμπεριφοράς και βέβαια τις ρυθμίσεις των αναρτήσεων.

 

Ανάλογο σύστημα, που θα διαφοροποιεί την συμπεριφορά των υποσυστημάτων του αυτοκινήτου, αναμένεται να τοποθετηθεί, σύμφωνα με "εσωτερικές" πληροφορίες και στα A4, A5 και S5 από το 2009.

Εμενα παλι μου αρεσει αρκετα αλλα ειναι υπερβολικο το φουσκωμα για ενα αμαξι 224 αλογων την στιγμη που το S3 με τα 265 ειναι σαν να εμπασε στο πλυσιμο σε σχεση με αυτο...

Αν βγει ετσι το αυτοκινητο βλεπω το S3 να πεφτουν οι πωλησεις του...

Απιστευτο ειναι, μεσα εξω και απο δυναμη πιθανοτατα θα ειναι πιο γρηγορο απο το S3!! H ροπη ειναι στο Θεο και λιγο παραπανω...

 

εδιτ: Οσο για τα φουσκωματα αυτα δεν εχουν καμια σχεση με τα αλογα, τουλαχιστον στα εργοστασιακα αυτοκινητα... Εδω μιλαμε για τεραστιους τροχους ικανους να κουμανταρουν την παραπανω ροπη και εκτος αυτου ειναι πολυ εμφανεις οι αγωνιστικες του καταβολες!!

Μην συγκρινουμε εργοστασιακες καταστασεις με τους καγκουρες που βλεπουμε καθημερινα στο δρομο!

Nissan 370Z: Με κινητήρα 3,7 λίτρων

Σύμφωνα με τον προγραμματισμό της Nissan, ο αντικαταστάτης του 350Ζ θα λανσαριστεί στην αγορά γύρω στο 2010.

Το γνώριμο σχήμα του αυτοκινήτου επιδόσεων της ιαπωνικής εταιρείας αναμένεται να διατηρηθεί σε μεγάλο βαθμό.

Οι κυριότερες σχεδιαστικές διαφορές θα επικεντρώνονται στα εμπρός και πίσω φωτιστικά σώματα, σε σχήμα «L».

 

Το 370Ζ οφείλει το όνομά του στο νέο V6 κινητήρα που θα χρησιμοποιεί, χωρητικότητας 3,7 λίτρων, τον οποίο

θα δανείζεται από το Infiniti G37. Η ισχύς αναμένεται να ξεπερνά τους 300 ίππους, χαρίζοντας ακόμη

καλύτερες επιδόσεις στο πισωκίνητο μοντέλο της Nissan.

Μια πολύ ειδική έκδοση της Spider ανακοίνωσε η Αlfa Romeo, συνολικής παραγωγής μόλις 11 μονάδων, που σκοπό

έχει να υπενθυμίσει και με τον τρόπο της να τιμήσει τις ισάριθμες νίκες της ιταλικής εταιρείας στο

φημισμένο αγώνα «Μille Miglia» από το 1928 έως το 1947.

 

Η Alfa Romeo Spider «Mille Miglia Special Edition» εκτός από το περίφημο τετράφυλλο τριφύλι, σήμα κατατεθέν

του αγωνιστικού της πνεύματος, θα είναι βαμμένη με το κλασικό «rosso 8» χρώμα του Ιταλού κατασκευαστή.

Όσο για τον κινητήρα της, δε θα είναι άλλος από τον V6 των 3.2 λίτρων, ισχύος 260 ίππων.

 

Η τιμή του συγκεκριμένου επετειακού μοντέλου δεν έχει ακόμη ανακοινωθεί από την εταιρεία.

If Alfa Romeo is to make a successful return to the North American market, it will need to rely on more than its sexy Italian image. On these shores, that means two contradictory elements are needed in its line-up: sport-utes and green tech. Towards that end, Alfa's newly-appointed CEO, Fiat Group wunderkind Luca de Meo, has confirmed two new developments for the company. The first is the production of a sport-utility or crossover vehicle. The second is a start-stop engine system, possibly to be bolstered by hybrid technology borrowed from parent company Fiat.

 

The crossover, previewed by the Kamal concept at the 2003 Geneva show, is scheduled to debut in 2010. It is anticipated to be based on the 159 platform, which already supports Alfa's Q4 all-wheel-drive system and offers a range of gasoline and turbodiesel engines. Upon its arrival to market, the new Italian SUV will face tough competition from Germany's best compact SUVs, including the Mercedes GLK, BMW X3, Volkswagen Tiguan and Audi Q5.

Τον κοσμοπολίτικο αέρα των Καννών επέλεξε η Renault για να παρουσιάσει τη νέα, κουπέ έκδοση της Laguna. Και ασφαλώς δε θα μπορούσε να βρει καλύτερη στιγμή από

αυτές της μέρες, που το Μονακό ζούσε στους ρυθμούς της Formula 1 και οι Κάννες έχουν τραβήξει τα φώτα της δημοσιότητας, λόγω του φεστιβάλ κινηματογράφου.

 

Η Laguna Coupe, η οποία αναμένεται να διευρύνει τη γκάμα του μοντέλου προς μια πιο σπορ κατεύθυνση, φέρει αρκετά κοινά σημεία με την πρωτότυπη εκδοχή

που είχε παρουσιαστεί πέρυσι, στο σαλόνι της Φρανκφούρτης. Παρόλα αυτά, η έκδοση παραγωγής θα διαθέτει κοντύτερο μεταξόνιο, πιο ψηλή οροφή αλλά

και μικρότερη εισαγωγή αέρα στη μάσκα.

 

Στα μηχανικά μέρη τώρα, συναντάμε δυο νέα V6 μοτέρ, ένα βενζινοκίνητο και ένα πετρελαιοκίνητο. Το πρώτο έχει χωρητικότητα 3,5 λίτρων και αποδίδει 240 ίππους

και 33.6 χλγμ. ροπής, ενώ το δεύτερο είναι χωρητικότητας 3.0 λίτρων, με την απόδοσή του να φτάνει τους 235 ίππους και τα 46,0 χλγμ. ροπής.

 

Προς το παρόν η Renault δεν έχει δώσει στη δημοσιότητα ιδιαίτερες λεπτομέρειες για το μοντέλο της, κάτι που αναμένεται να γίνει στην επίσημη παρουσίαση,

στα πλαίσια της έκθεσης αυτοκινήτου του Παρισιού. Αυτό που γνωρίζουμε, αναφορικά με τις επιδόσεις, είναι ότι η διαδικασία του 0-100 χλμ/ώρα

ολοκληρώνεται σε λιγότερα από 7 δευτερόλεπτα.

Consistent with the previously leaked Audi Roll Out Schedule Until 2012 document, the next generation C7 Audi A6 is set to be unveiled in 2010 for the 2011

model year. With the established Audi grille and new headlamps with eye-catching LED daytime running lamps already certified, the overall A6 body design

seems to confirm initial worries that it will end up looking like an enlarged Audi A4.

 

Despite the lightly evolved design, the new A6 under the skin is just the opposite with a new construction method resulting in 50% body shell weight loss

and 50% increased rigidity. Car Online spoke with Audi chief strategist and reports the A6 will be the first model to introduce the new body structure

which incorporates both steel and aluminum materials.

 

Similar to the ASF (Aluminum Space Frame) body construction seen in the low volume R8, TT and A8 models, the new A6 will receive this hybrid body of steel

and aluminum, dubbed ASF II, consisting of an all aluminum passenger cell with steel/foam reinforcements. The front nose and rear tail sections will also

be reinforced with compact and lightweight subframes which are currently being developed. As any metallurgist knows, aluminum and steel do not mate well,

however, advancements in bonding techniques and epoxy resins make it possible resulting in streamlined production, top build quality and cost savings.

 

After the A6, the ASF II system will be introduced in the A8 and new A7. However, the challenge for Audi engineers will be applying the technology to its

smaller cars. Audi engineers are currently exploring how alloys can be used on the Mk2 A3 and upcoming A1.

 

Clearly the advantages of a lighter vehicle are most evident in improved handling, fuel economy and reduced emissions. For example, applying the ASF II to

the heavy Q7 SUV could save as much as 300 kg. However, Audi needs to be more competitive in the handling department and this ASF II system puts them one

step closer to narrowing that gap between its German rear-wheel-drive brothers, the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class.

First of all, our spy photographers have managed to capture the future Alfa Romeo SUV undergoing tests under the body of an old Fiat Palio Weekend.

This week, Luca de Meo, Alfas CEO, confirmed to the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport the Milanese brand will have its SUV. Least, but not last,

Infomotori.com brings us the information that the SUV will be based on the future 149, placing the Alfa CXover, as it is called internally, in the

fastest growing SUV segment, the same one were Renault Koleos, VW Tiguan, Ford Kuga, Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLK and BMW X3 are already fighting for

the preference of consumers. Although Porsche denies it, we also expect to see the Roxster in the market within the next couple years.

 

De Meo also confirmed the CXover will appear by 2010 in order to allow Alfa Romeo to become a global player. One could read that as an obvious remark:

since the Cuore Sportivo brand wants to get back to the USA, and wants to stay there for good, it will need to enter the SUV segment, which is very

popular in the biggest car market of the world.

 

Infomotori.com estimates the CXover will be 4.4 m long, 1.8 m wide and will have LED headlights and taillights, as well as 20-inch wheels. A 2-litre

petrol turbo engine with direct injection pumping out 300 bhp is said to be the responsible for moving the future Italian SUV, which will also count

on a permanent all wheel drive system that send 60% of power to the rear wheels and 40% to the front wheels, varying that proportion according to

grip conditions. In other words, an SUV with sportive ambitions and behavior. If it also looks as good as the Kamal and the renderings, these

ambitions may be fulfilled.

After the French magazine Auto Plus revealed exclusive pictures of the new Renault Mégane III, little was left for the imagination of this car fans, but the

pictures were not very clear. In order to compensate this deficiency, our colleagues at Infomotori.com have worked on the renderings they kindly authorized

us to reproduce here. And, besides praising the nice work our Italian friends have done to uncover the new French car, expected to be presented at the 2008

Paris Motor Show, we can confirm many of its new features.

 

The main one is the choice for a more conservative design, something fundamental for a company with very ambitious growing targets. Bets can be done in less

competitive car market segments, if they can be done at all. Therefore, the design of the new Mégane resembles the one already used in Laguna and Twingo,

first presented by Mégane Coupé Concept. Future vehicles are likely to adopt the same styling cues, such as the headlights and the front fascia.

 

There is still doubt about the size of the new hatchback, but it will come in three and five door versions, as well as a sedan and a station wagon. Engines

will probably remain the same, or else, 1.4-litre, 1.6-litre and 2-litre petrol engines and 1.5-litre and 2-litre diesel engines, all four cylindres. The

flagship, according to Infomotori.com, will probably feature a 2-litre turbo able to deliver 225 bhp. Prices will range from less than € 15,000 up to

about € 30,000. Sales will take place soon after the presentation.
