However, rumors are here to save the day: the new Walkman will feature a 3-ich OLED touch-screen, Wi-fi and a built-in browser, among other things. There will be other web-based features, too: While most of the usual menu structure of the current Walkman series will be retained in this new model, there are several new exciting features included. For example, upon listening to an artist, you may click on the artist name and watch music videos of the artist on YouTube through Wi-Fi (WPA and WEP support included). Additionally, there will be a Youtube icon on the main screen that will allow full access to the website - search, pause, FF/RW included very similar to Youtube access on the iPhone/iTouch. At some point we had some rumors saying that Sony and Ericsson are going to break up. Well they haven’t done that yet and, even better than that, Sony Ericsson has announced it’s intention to join the Open Handset Alliance. Will an Android handset arrive in 2009? Is the company ready for such a commitment? Sony Ericsson doesn’t have specific plans for a 2009 release. In fact there’s nothing official pointing to that. Future Android products will be high-end products but in the same time the platform won’t be exclusive to high-end products in the future. Sony Ericsson won’t put its eggs in only one basket and it will continue to release Symbian and Windows Mobile handsets too. What will 2009 look like from the Sony Ericsson point of view look like? Τώρα πόσο καλό είναι αυτό .. θα δείξει .. δεν ξέρω ... ok, λογικό είναι να θέλει να απεμπλακεί από την HTC που είναι ανταγωνιστής της στο ίδιο market segment (συσκευές WM) .......
