Απλά να σου πω ότι πέρα από το Ocarina of Time κυκλοφόρησε για το Ν64 και το Majora's Mask, ένα πάρα πολύ καλό παιχνίδι αλλά με εφιαλτικό save system. Σε αυτό ο Miyamoto προσπάθησε να περιαματιστεί ακόμα περισσότερο με το χρόνο και το παιχνίδι έγινε πολύ δύσκολο. Αν καταφέρεις να συνηθίσεις τις δυσκολίες με το χρόνο μιλάμε για εκπληκτικό παιχνιδάκι.

τι διαφορα εχει αν συνδεεται η καμερα μεσο usb στον υπολογιστη αντι με firewire?μονο την ταχυτητα?

Τελικά κατέληξα στο iRiver Η-120 και το αγόρασα από το Play247. Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν πολύ καλή και έλυσε τις απορίες μου, ενώ η δωρεάν αποστολή είναι ένα καλό συγκριτικό πλεονέκτημα.

 

Άπό το ίδιο το μηχάνημα είμαι μέχρι στιγμής πολύ ικανοποιημένος!

So I'm tipping your first question is: "What's a TiVo"? If you're not a fan of Sex in the City or don't follow a US tech website like Cnet.com, you have probably never heard of it. So no, it's not a new type of TV technology to replace plasma's or LCD; it's a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) using a built in hard drive to record TV shows. But it's not just any DVR unit similar to a DVD recorder or Digital Set top box with a hard disk that you may have heard about, it's a fully featured, fully programmable TV recording studio.

What can it do?

 

Depending on the size of the hard drive installed, it can record at least 6 times more than your average VCR. For example, an 80gig drive can record between 25 & 90hrs depending on the quality you select. Not enough I hear you say, well just plug in a bigger hard drive.

 

TiVo allows you to control live TV - pause, rewind, slow-mo, time-slip function and instant replay. If the phone rings, no problem. Take the call and just hit the rewind button after you hang up and play catch up during the ads. Unlike other DVR units, this is fully automatic. TiVo automatically caches whatever you are watching (up to 20mins) without you having to hit the record button, so at any time you can hit the rewind button to hear Homer say D'oh just one more time!

 

As you would expect with any device that records TV programs, you can program the unit to record. But this is where the TiVo excels as it uses an electronic program guide (EPG). This is downloaded from the web once a week, so it's always up to date and includes all forms of TV, from free to air to all of the pay TV providers. So forget the days of entering start and finish times, or that useless G-Code system. Just browse the EPG to find a show you like and press select to record it. Sounds pretty good huh? Well it gets even better. TiVo has a function called a Season Pass, which allows you to record every time a Simpson's episode is shown, regardless of what station it's on. Sick of the repeats (yeah, right) you can even tell TiVo to ignore them and only record the first run episodes. The system also allows you to record every movie starring your favourite actor, or every show about your favourite lifestyle or sports program. You can even transfer recordings from your TiVo to your PC, and burn your favourite movie to DVD (not that you would breach copyright laws). Once its set up, you will never ever miss your favourite shows again.

Where can I get one?

 

Have I got your attention? Of course I have. The bad news is that unfortunately TiVo's aren't available in Australia and probably never will be considering they are still to make a profit in the USA after many years of operation. Therefore, it's off to our old friend Mr.eBay! As TiVo in the States is in its third generation, there are plenty of the old series 1 TiVo's for sale, which suits us just fine. Prices vary depending on the condition & size of the hard drive, but expect to pay around $200AU to get it over here in its standard form.

 

Obviously TiVo's are set up for the American system and therefore must be modified for use in Australia. Thankfully there is a bunch of very smart enthusiasts that have developed a way to convert these units to suit our TV standards, including the EPG. They have an excellent web site, Oz TiVo (http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/view) that will guide you from start to finish, and try to help you out if you get in a fix. Without these guys, we would still be stuck with the boring VCR, so well done fellas!

What next?

 

This is when the fun starts, well sort of. If you bought a unit with a hard drive, you will need to pull it out and hook it up to your PC so you can install the image you downloaded from the OzTiVo web site, then throw the drive back in your TiVo box and connect it to your PC via a serial cable or network adapter, both of which can be purchased over the net. However, there are instructions on how to make your own serial cable on the website. I recommend a network adaptor (also known as a TurboNet card) as it makes life easy when you want to connect to your unit or update the EPG. We have a wireless network, which works a treat and means the TiVo can stay put under the TV and relieve the already tangled mess of cables like I have.

Once you have set up the connection with your TiVo (which can be a bit tricky), you then have to set up your Internet connection on your TiVo (so it can download the EPG) along with a few other configuration settings. TiVo has a built in modem, so if you couldn't be bothered with a network connection etc, the unit can still access the EPG via your dial up account. Either way you must have some form of Internet connection. This is also the cheaper option if funds are a bit tight. All up the process took about 2hrs (not inc. the time it takes TiVo to index the EPG) with a few hiccups along the way. Note: you will need to be a little bit of a techno head to do all this, but don‘¦t be too scared as you will find a forum with people that will help you out (quite similar to MTekk actually). Obviously I have glossed over a lot, but hope it gives you the general idea.

Απ' ό,τι θυμάμαι (φαντάσου, έχω μια Volito στην ντουλάπα και μια Α4 Graphire στη δουλειά :rolleyes: ) η Volito δεν παίρνει εξτρά τις εναλλακτικές πένες όπως τον αερογράφο, δεν έχει γόμα στο πίσω πέρος του pen και κάτι άλλες τέτοιες λεπτομέρειες για άλλους, πολύ σημαντικά για κάποιους άλλους.

Εξαρτάται από τη χρήση που θα κάνεις. Και πρόσεξε, αν έχεις μεγάλη οθόνη (19 και άνω) μην πάρεις μικρή ταμπλέτα Α6 γιατί μπορεί να έχεις πρόβλημα: Μια μικρή κίνηση θα αντιστοιχεί σε πολλά pixels κίνηση στην οθόνη και θα έχεις πρόβλημα.

Με αφορμή την απάντηση σ'έναν φίλο, σκέφτηκα ότι θα ήταν καλό από αυτό το βήμα να ανταλλάξουμε απόψεις για την επεργασία ψηφιακού Video. Θα ήταν καλό να δούμε τι προγράμματα χρησιμοποιείτε, ποιές τεχνικές, αν έχετε ανακαλύψει κολπάκια ή μυστικά που θα μπορούσαν να κάνουν πιο ενδιαφέρουσα την επεξεργασία και εν συνεχεία την θέαση ενός Home Video.

Δεν εντυπωσιάζει, ούτε απογοητεύει. Είναι γενικά μια stylus μηχανή, χωρίς πολλές δυνατότητες και χωρίς καμμιά ρύθμιση για βελτίωση της photo ανάλογα με τις συνθήκες (κλασσική point and shoot).

Σαφώς πιο ολοκληρωμένη ψηφιακή στην ίδια κατηγορία (στα 3ΜP), με καλύτερη ποιότητα photo, καλύτερο video (αν σε ενδιάφερει), και άφθονες ρυθμίσεις είναι η Canon A75. Mπορείς να την βρεις σε παρόμοια τιμή, εδώ στην Ελλάδα έχουν 10 ευρώ διαφορά.

 

Από άποψη μεγέθους έχουμε:

 

Μju-300 : 99 x 56 x 34 (σε mm)

A75 : 101 x 64 x 32 (σε mm)
