THE ALFA ROMEO 147 HAS WON ITSELF ANOTHER IMPORTANT TITLE BY CLAIMING THE PRESTIGIOUS ANNUAL '24 ORE DI AUTO' HELD AT THE MISANO CIRCUIT The Alfa Romeo 147 has won itself another important title by claiming the prestigious annual '24 Ore di Auto' held at the Misano circuit. The race, held on the 11th and 12th of May, was organised as usual by 'Cars' magazine on the Adriatic Misano race track, and the winning car this year was a 1.6-litre TwinSpark powered Alfa 147. This latest endurance victory comes just weeks after a JTD-powered Alfa 147 scorched to victory in the Nuerburgring 24 Hours, its third consecutive win in what is self-billed as the 'world's toughest race'. A former winner of highly prestigious 'European Car of the Year' award, these two latest victories prove that the Alfa 147, recently given its mid-life update, is just as dynamically fresh as ever. The specialist Italian review publication each year organises a marathon twenty four hour race that puts to the test high-volumes models in order to determine their levels of reliability, durability and of course performance. This year the magazine chose petrol and diesel engined models from the hotly-contested C-segment, picking twenty one cars from eleven different manufacturers. All the cars chosen had 115 bhp available. As well as the Alfa 147 1.6TS, other strong rivals for the race included a Renault Megane 1.6 16v, Audi A3 1.6 FSI, Toyota Corolla 1.6 VVT and Honda Civic V-TEC Sport. The driving duties were entrusted to a number of leading Italian and foreign motoring journalists, which included three of the top European specialist car magazines: Autocar from Great Britain, Autovisie from Holland, and ViBilagare from Sweden. The journalists were joined by regular test drivers, and all drivers rotated between the cars over the twenty four hour period. Television coverage was provided by the cameras of Motor RAI TG2. Always pushing the cars to the limit, the only stops permitted by the organisers were regular pit visits to change the pilots, refuel the cars, and to change the Michelin-supplied 'control' tyres and the brakes. The winning Alfa 147 1.6TS completed 642 laps of the Adriatic circuit which equated to 2606.5 kilometers. During the 24 hours they replaced the front brake pads once and the front tyres three times. The car used 626.1 litres of petrol during the run, which meant that the Alfa 147 travelled 4.163 km per litre of petrol. Ευχαριστω παιδια....αγορασα το K700 μολις 172ευρω δινωντας μονο το T610 χωρις φορτιστη και σε αθλια κατασταση.Παντος το ταπεινο X70 δεν το αλλαζω παρα μονο με ενα καινουριο πανασονικ.Μπορει να μην εχει τις δυνατοτητες του K700 αλλα περα απο ανωτερη κατασκευη ειναι πολυ πιο πρακτικο και πιο γρηγορο στα βασικα.

The end result of that collaboration is the PlayStation 3 RSX "Reality Synthesizer" graphics processing unit, a massive 550MHz, 300-million-transistor graphics chip based on next-generation GeForce graphics technology. According to a written statement from Nvidia, the RSX transistor count is "more than the total number of transistors in both the central processing units and the graphics processing units of the three leading current-generation systems, combined." During the PlayStation 3 E3 presentation, Nvidia CEO and founder Jen-Hsun Huang explained that "the RSX has twice the performance of the GeForce 6800 Ultra, the highest performance GPU in the world today. Each of these GPUs retails for $500. There will be two of them, equivalent horsepower, in the RSX." One of Sony's E3 presentation slides states that the RSX graphics processor has "independent vertex/pixel shaders," which means that the GPU uses a traditional, nonunified shader engine. The RSX has a smaller total "pipeline" number than the Xbox 360 ATI chip, but the RSX's normal pipelines are more powerful than the Xbox 360's pipes. Sony doesn't want to risk printing a lower "pipeline" number since people won't understand that comparing graphics pipelines between the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 isn't an apples-to-apples comparison. So how many traditional pipelines does the RSX have? Your first guess might be that Nvidia simply doubled the pipeline number on the 6800 Ultra to make the RSX, but you also have to remember that the 16-pipe Ultra only clocked in at 400MHz. If the "double" performance measurement is based on fill-rate performance rather than hardware, the clock speed increase up to 550MHz is a strong sign that the hardware improvement isn't from a pure doubling of pipelines. We're guessing that the actual pipeline count is going to be 24, which is about right for 300 million transistors and, at 550MHz, it has just a slightly larger fill rate than two GeForce 6800 Ultras clocked at 400MHz. Sony will manufacture the RSX chip itself at a fabrication plant in Nagasaki and at another facility co-owned by Sony and Toshiba. The PlayStation 3 has 256MB of Rambus XDR memory and 256MB of GDDR3 memory dedicated to graphics. Nvidia also claims that the RSX can take advantage of the combined 512MB since it is capable of writing directly to system memory, but the 256MB dedicated graphics memory should be plenty for now. The increased graphics memory bandwidth and storage space will allow developers to use high-resolution textures and enable antialiasing for incredibly detailed, jaggie-free graphics. The programmable shader capabilities greatly increase graphics efficiency, allowing game developers to create advanced effects like subsurface scattering and other advanced lighting effects. The PlayStation 3's advanced graphics power will allow the system to output the previously discussed dual, high-definition 1080p video streams
