Sony announces CMOS sensors, up to 12 MP The megapixel range has picked up speed once again, with Sony, one half of mobile phone manufacturer Sony Ericsson, have announced new 12.25 MP CMOS sensors, which will be available to implement into mobile phones, from March next year onwards. The new sensors, to be produced by Sony Ericsson, taken from Sony's Exmor range, equipped with autofocus, will retail for around $26, which isn't that much more than today's 8 MP mobile phone sensors, such as Sony Ericsson's C905. Though the sensors are quite small, image quality shouldn't be compromised, due to a unique pixel structure, as well as Sony's Column-Parallel A/D Conversion technique. What with Ericsson saying that we will see 20 MP cameraphones by 2012, going by this, they may even appear a bit soonar than that. Δεν διαφωνώ στο θέμα των megapixel :rolleyes:!! Αλλά αναφερόμουν περισσότερο στα υπόλοιπα χαρακτηριστικά (Full HD (1920 x 1080) video recording, XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) dispays).

To μικρό Audi R8 «R4» Η Audi συνεισφέρει με βάση την τεχνογνωσία της στην κατασκευή μερών αλουμινίου, τόσο για το αμάξωμα όσο και για τον κινητήρα. Στο νέο μοντέλο που εξελίσσεται στους κύκλους του ομίλου VW, η Audi βλέπει το μικρό αδερφό του R8, δηλαδή ένα αυτοκίνητο με την ονομασία «R4». Πάντως, στην Audi επιθυμούν να τοποθετήσουν εκδόσεις με ισχυρότερους κινητήρες από αυτούς που θα έχει το ίδιο μοντέλο της Volkswagen. Mε βάση αυτό γίνεται λόγος για ιπποδυνάμεις, που θα ξεκινούν τουλάχιστον από τα 204 άλογα. Προκειμένου να διαφοροποιήσει ακόμα περισσότερο το δικό της προϊόν, η Audi ανασχεδίασε τόσο το εμπρός όσο και το πίσω μέρος του επερχόμενου μοντέλου, δημιουργώντας ένα άκρως ελκυστικό σύνολο, με premium χαρακτήρα και πολλές αισθητικές ομοιότητες (φανάρια, μάσκα, προφυλακτήρας) με το μικρό πρωτότυπο Audi A1 Sportback Concept, που είδαμε στο Παρίσι. Τέλος, εκτός απροόπτου, ενεργό ρόλο στην κατασκευή του νέου αυτού μοντέλου θα έχει και η εταιρεία Karmann, μόνιμος συνεργάτης σε κάμπριο οχήματα του ομίλου VW εδώ και πολλές δεκαετίες. Ferrari 430 16M Scuderia Spider The Ferrari F430 16M Scuderia Spider has arrived in honor of Ferrari's 16th constructors championship F1 title last week with a retractable hardtop roof that will subtract 80 kg of weight from the standard 430 Spider. But that may not impact performance very much since the Spider will feature Ferrari's new super-efficient, dual-clutch 7-speed transmission, which will further maximize power-management. The same transmission is also set to debut in the California, and the Scuderia also has the California's same powerplant -- a 510hp 4.3-liter V8. But while the California puts the horses under the front bonnet, the Scuderia is a true mid-engined performer. Ferrari is to build 499 units of the Scuderia Spider, as the F430 16M Scuderia itself has been limited to that number as well. Do be aware that Ferrari's assembly plant in Maranello only produces about 27 cars a day -- just a tad over 6,000 a year. BMW: Ματαιώθηκε η παραγωγή του CS Sports Sedan Τα άσχημα οικονομικά αποτελέσματα του τρίτου τριμήνου του 2008, στο οποίο η BMW είδε τα κέρδη της να μειώνονται κατά 63% σε σχέση με το αντίστοιχο περσινό διάστημα, είχαν ως αποτέλεσμα η εταιρεία του Μονάχου να ανακοινώσει πως δεν πρόκειται τελικά να κατασκευάσει την έκδοση παραγωγής της CS Concept. H BMW είχε ανακοινώσει επίσημα στα τέλη του περασμένου έτους ότι θα έβγαζε στην παραγωγή το εντυπωσιακό 4θυρο coupe έως το 2011. Αν και είναι δύο εντελώς διαφορετικά τηλέφωνα.. Εγώ θα σου έλεγα μιας και το είχα (κάποτε) το iPhone ότι ΔΕΝ αξίζει να μεταβείς από το iPhone στο P1 :cool:.
