The S8000 will see many downgrades compared to the S8300 and so become that much more inexpensive. Not much is known about this new entrant other than what can be seen in the pictures and according to them, the camera is toned down to 5 megapixels from the S8300’s 8mpx lens and there is no hint of a sliding form factor, although the hexagonal navpad and the big answer/disconnect buttons. Still, the S8000 Ultra Touch is just a rumor (with some pretty convincing pictures) and we will get you more news on it as it emerges. The rich connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and USB. Finally its body is only 12mm thin. Surprisingly, the Samsung S8000 will be running on the Android OS and the new Cube-like button hints of some new 3D graphical user interface changes. The video player will support both DivX and XviD formats. It's due for release later this year. The information, discovered by Unwired View, was accidentally published by Russian retailer Euroset on their site. The S8000 has been code-named cCubic due to the phone's use of the TouchWiz UI, which emulates LG's 3D UI, as used by the Arena. The phone features a 16 million colour, 480x800 AMOLED display. A 5MP camera is included, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and, handily, a 3.5mm headphone jack. June 27, 2009 εχεις δικιο! και εδω 430 ! οσο για το λογισμικο ναι νομιζω ειναι κλειστο,αλλα εμενα προσωπικα νομιζω με καλυπτει και ετσι αφου απο οτι βλεπω και απο τις εικονες θα το εχουν "εξοπλισει" με αρκετες ωραιες και χρησιμες εφαρμογες...επισης δεν θα χρειαζεται επιπλεον προγραμμα για divx,xvid playback και ειναι και πολυ ομορφο! Το έχω δει κι από κοντά και φαίνεται πολύ κομψο..Οι δυνατότητες του μπορεί να μην είναι και τόσο μεγάλες(βλ.κλειστό λογισμικό)αλλα εμένα προσωπικά με καλύπτει...!!! Επίσης ένα από τα μεγάλα 'συν' του είναι και ο δυνατός του επεξεργαστής...!!! Πολύ καλή επιλογή για όποιον θελήσει να το "δοκιμάσει"!!!!
