A very simple program for perfectionist djs, that want to perfectly match the BPMs of two tracks or do some tricky "distant" beat matches.

It was designed for Windows mobile PocketPC devices, and there's also a desktop version.

The only thing required, is to know the precise original BPM of the two songs, BPM counters on CDJs or mixers are not reliable, but there are plenty of computer programs that do the job. I usually use Mixed-in-Key.

Since i have absolutely no knowledge of any programming language, i've kept this little program extremely minimalistic and simple.

In the aqua colored textbox you input the original BPM, and on the yellow one, the target BPM, and when you hit calculate, the pink textbox shows the required pitch change.

This little program was developed on my pocketpc with Basic4PPC on a boring day at work, while djing :)

As I mentioned earlier, i have absolutely no programming knowledge of any kind, I created this to satisfy my needs, but if you have any suggestions, ideas, or code, feel free to contact me at kourampies "AT" kiss922.gr.

Pitch Calculator / pitchcalc 0.2

A very simple program for perfectionist djs, that want to perfectly match the BPMs of two tracks or do some tricky "distant" beat matches.

It was designed for Windows mobile PocketPC devices, and there's also a desktop version that you could use on your Traktor scratch pc, or in the LJ's computer, or in any other pc you want.

The only thing required, is to know the precise original BPM of the two songs, BPM counters on CDJs or mixers are not reliable, but there are plenty of computer programs that do the job. I usually use Mixed-in-Key.
