Κατα τ'αλλα μέτρια μου φάνηκε, απλα μια ακομα Αμερικάνικη σειρά, χωρίς κάποιο ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον, τουλάχιστον για μένα προσωπικά. Τι εννοείς, "δε τα καταφέρνει" ? Να αντιγράψει το "Beverly Hills" ή να το φτάσει σε επιτυχία και "ποιότητα" ? ΣΗΜ: Το Beverly Hills δεν μου άρεσε ποτε (ίσως γιατί όταν το έπαιζε ήμουν μικρός) αλλα το αναμεσά απο τα δύο προτιμώ το O.C. Πάντως απο εδώ και περά αρχίζουν να φτιάχνουν τα επισόδεια... έως ότου να εμφανιστεί ο Oliver :rocket: BTW... έχει κανένας Season 2 απο το 2x11 εως το τέλος να μου στειλεί ? Το Προηγούμενο Σάββατο Τα παιδιά φεύγουν για Τιχουάνα(Μεξικό) για ξεφρενο clubbing αλλα στο δρομο παθαίνουν ένα μικρό ατύχημα και αναγκάζονται να μείνουν κάπου αλλού. Όσο είναι εκεί, ο πατέρας της Marissa την παίρνει τηλέφωνο για να της πεί ότι αυτός και η Julie χώρισαν και οταν η Marissa θα γυρίσει τη Δευτέρα δεν θα τον βρει σπίτι. Η Marissa θέλει να γυρίσει σπίτι αλλα τα παιδιά της προτείνουν να πάνε στη Τιχουάνα γιατί αυτή τη στιγμή δεν θα θέλει να είναι σπίτι. Αφού φτάσουν η Marissa πάει να βρει τον Luke σε ένα club... και το βρίσκει μαζί με την Holly, μια απο τις φίλες της. Μετά ξεκινά ο κλασσικός πλέον καυγάς μεταξύ Ryan-Luke. H Marissa φεύγει και πάει στο ξενοδοχείο ενώ οι άλλοι ψάχνουν να την βρουν. Η Summer την βρισκει στο ξενοδοχείο και της λέει να φύγουν. Πάει στο μπάνιο να πάρει τηλέφωνο τους άλλους δύο (Seth, Ryan) και να τους πει ότι την βρήκε. Όσο όμως η Summer ήταν στο μπάνιο, η Marissa το σκασε με κάτι υπνωτικά χάπια και πήγε σε ένα μπαρ να πάρει τεκιλα. Έκανε απόπειρα αυτοκτονίας και πήγε και ξάπλωσε σε ένα στενό... και εκεί την βρήκαν οι άλλοι. "That storyline WILL resolve itself sometime in the near future," Schwartz says. 2. No one is safe. "I think there's gonna be some surprising turn of events. A major character will leave and we may find ourselves at another funeral again this year.” 3. We're going to see Trey leave town, I believe at the end of the first episode, but that won’t be the last of him. "No, nope," Schwartz confirms. "Logan Marshall-Green, being a fantastic actor, he really brought so much to the show and to the role of Trey that we have every intention of one day that bus turning around. We left it intentionally kind of enigmatic and open-ended, 'cause you can always come back. We'd love to bring him back, and some other returning faces this year." 4. Schwartz says: "Julie Cooper's in for a bumpy ride in these first ten episodes. You can take the girl out of Riverside, but that doesn't always mean she's not gonna land back in Riverside, if you know what I mean. So Julie's in for an interesting struggle. Caleb's will will be read. I think it will surprise some people. And she's gonna make another go at it with Jimmy Cooper, but you know that Jimmy Cooper dot dot dot... But I think through it all, what you'll really see is Marissa and Julie really kind of growing together as a mother and daughter. It's not always easy between them, but as Marissa starts to really mature, to become more of a young adult, she'll start to understand her mother's circumstances in a way that I think is actually gonna be really sweet and really touching." 5. "Ryan, this year for Chrismukkah, is going to have an honorary Bar Mitzvah because, you know, every Jewish boy wishes he had Christmas and Seth has given himself that, and every gentile wishes he had a Bar Mitzvah. Now Seth wants to give that to Ryan." 6. "We're looking to expand Summer's family," Schwartz says. We'll see a lot more of her house and definitely her dad too. 7. "We would love to bring [Marissa's little sister] Caitlyn back into the show. Absolutely. It's just a question of when. But we have every intention of seeing her again... [she's] been up to no good." 8. "On the Sandy front, he will start to kind of fill the void, in Caleb's absence, of sort of housekeeping the Newport Group until Kirsten gets out of rehab and he has a sense of where her head's at, and then he'll find himself sort of surprisingly drawn into the business from a very kind of Sandy Cohen point of view, of like 'well we can actually use this company, which was for so many years an evil empire, we can actually use this company for good and to affect change in the community.' But that can be a slippery slope and we'll see the strains and responsibility of taking on that job. Even with the best of intentions, it'll start to weigh on him, and create a really interesting dynamic between him and Kirsten. Sandy becomes the bread winner in their family for the first time." It may create some moral dillemmas. 7. The Subways, a British band, will be one of the first bands to play at The Bait Shop this year. 8. Re: Jeri Ryan's character: Kirsten will meet her in rehab and she will play on Kirsten's insecurities of whether or not she's ready to come home and be a good wife and mom again. "Jeri has the ability to be really sweet and really charming, and turn on a dime, and so she's brought a lot of that to the role, kind of plays both things at the same time." 9. Episode one is kind of like part two of the season ending cliffhanger… "sort of to resolve all the storylines and get back up to speed with where all of our character's heads are at." They'll also introduce Eric Mabius, Harbor's new "mean dean, " Autumn Reeser as a wannabe Marissa and Jeri Ryan. In episode two through four (airing before baseball puts them on hiatus), You'll start to meet a lot of the new characters, including a bunch of kids at Marissa's new school, which she attends cause the "mean dean" kicks her out of Harbor. Sandy is going to get a young new business partner as he starts to take over The Newport Group. He has to watch himself and be careful not to turn into Caleb. 10. Schwartz is thinking ahead. "We are going to create our own fictional university: Orange County U… I'm kidding! Totally kidding. That's our challenge. Right now, our focus is senior year. Then next year, everything as we know it changes." 09/01 - Marissa gets kicked out of school! Summer gets a new nemesis! Sandy takes over the business he once despised! [...] The FOX series, which opens its third season Thursday, Sept. 8, plans to cover a lot of ground again this year, creator Josh Schwartz says. And after tying up a couple of loose ends (albeit not too tightly) in the season premiere, the show will dive into a year of changes for the Cohens and those around them. "This year is senior year [for the teen characters] and with senior year comes all that sort of angst and anxiety, all that sort of epic teen drama -- who am I, where am I going, what's gonna happen to us," Schwartz says. "It's going to call everyone's identity into question and throw the show back on the family." [...] But Schwartz fallout from the incident will continue to affect the characters -- starting with Marissa being kicked out of the Harbor School, thanks to a new dean of discipline ("Eyes'" Eric Mabius, who will have a recurring part). Marissa's departure will bring a new character, Taylor Townsend (Autumn Reeser, "Complete Savages"), into the forefront at Harbor. Schwartz describes her as "this sort of steaming, young Newpsie-in-training socialite who's been toiling in Marissa's shadow all these years." With Marissa banished to (gasp) public school, Taylor takes over as Harbor's social chair -- much to the consternation of Marissa's best friend Summer. "Summer goes toe-to-toe with her as a sort of symbolic gesture to keep the Marissa flame alive at Harbor," Schwartz says. "It's going to bring back some of the classic, bitchy Summer -- there's really sort of an 'All About Eve' thing between Taylor and Summer."Viewers will get substantial pieces of these plot threads in the first four episodes. And that's to say nothing of Kirsten's journey through rehab -- where she encounters the mysterious Charlotte Morgan (recurring guest Jeri Ryan) -- or Sandy's entree into the Newport Group as a sort of caretaker while his wife is away. 09/01 - Schwartz, though, does not foresee leaving fans with a big fat cliff-hanger before the break. "We've done that before, in our first season, after Marissa OD'd in Tijuana," he notes. "But we have had so many cliff-hangers lately that we're looking at that final episode before baseball as more a signal of the show being in a new place. You'll get a sense of, 'Oh, the show has moved over the course of the first four episodes,' and have a sense of where we are headed when we come back." You can also expect fewer titillating twists, like the girl-girl kiss (and subsequent romance) between Marissa and Alex (played by Mischa Barton and Olivia Wilde). "That was a double-edged sword for us," Schwartz admits, "because we were asked to pull back [on the duration of the kiss] while at the same time it was very heavily hyped. It was like some sort of game. But while everybody thought the kiss would be the start and end of it for them, for us it was really about doing a real relationship and showing how, after it ended, Marissa would be at a place of greater maturity." Speaking of Marissa — and aren't we always? — what will be the aftermath of her aforementioned marksmanship? Schwartz, arguing against criticism that the show's arcs are too short and too tidily wrapped up, hopes to get more mileage from what happens next. "It's funny, because people say, 'Oh, you resolve things too quickly,' and others say, 'You took too long.' But the Trey-shooting story line and the Kirsten story line play out for at least a half dozen more episodes. "On the Trey side of it," Schwartz continues, "although the immediate plot and mechanics are resolved in the first episode, the emotional ramifications actually play out for a very, very long time. They set in motion plotlines that carry us through most of the season. [We'll explore] the fallout and how it lands on the characters and relationships — between Ryan and Marissa, especially." Σχόλια : Ο τίτλος είναι αλλαγμένος, έχει το τίτλο του STAR δηλαδή "California Teens"... άθλιος κατα τη γνώμη μου. :mad: Επίσης όλη η σειρά είναι χωρισμένη σε 7 δισκάκια και θα πωλούνται ξεχωριστά.
