It's slower cousin the 156GTA is winning ETCC ahead of BMW 330's, Volvo's,The car was first shown in December 2002 and has been developed by NTechnology using the successful touring car as a basis. It uses a 3548cc version of the classic V6 with 300bhp, driving the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and a viscous coupling differential. The shell features the wider rear arches of the race-car, a rear diffusor and suitably aggressive front and rear bumpers. The suspension is lower and stiffer and 19inch alloy wheels with 235/35ZR19 tyres are fitted whilst the front brakes featre larger discs.
