September 18, 2006 Λοιπόν, οι Linkin Park θεωρούνται nu metal/rapcore, από εκεί και πέρα ο καθένας ας τους κατηγοριοποιήσει όπου νομίζει σύμφωνα με τα ακούσματά του.. Εμένα μου κάνει εντύπωση το γεγονός ότι ο Michael Kenji Shinoda (Mike) από το 2004 συμμετέχει/ηγείται στους Fort Minor, το οποίο θεωρείται hip-hop side project. Αυτός φαντάζομαι είναι και ο λόγος που έχουν καθυστερήσει τόσο οι LP να βγάλουν δίσκο...η απορία μου είναι πως ο Chester Charles Bennington "επιτρέπει" στον Mike να ασχολείται και με άλλο γκρουπ παράλληλα..δε θυμάμαι στο παρελθόν να έχει γίνει κάτι ανάλογο με άλλα γκρουπς...συνήθως μετά από τέτοια κατάσταση διαλύονται.. VeCo Δημ. September 18, 2006 Κοινοποίηση Δημ. September 18, 2006 Αυτό γίνεται διότι: (α) το γκρουπ ξεκίνησε με πιο hip-hop φιλοσοφία και αργότερα στράφηκε προς το nu-metal. Ο Shinoda όμως παραμένει θιασώτης του hip-hop και όποτε μπορεί εργάζεται πάνω σε αυτό (χαρακτηριστικό δείγμα το Reanimation). (β) ο Shinoda είναι εκ των ιδρυτών του γκρουπ Hybrid Theory, το οποίο αργότερα εξελίχθηκε στους Linkin Park. Οπότε δεν χρειάζεται την άδεια του Chester - τον οποίο αργότερα έφεραν στο γκρουπ, όταν στράφηκαν στο nu-metal και χρειάζονταν πιο "σκληρά" φωνητικά - για να ασχοληθεί με side project.
