October 21, 2003 Together, Vodafone live! and Mobile Office from Vodafone lay the foundations for the Group's next stage of growth, as it is planned that both will create the demand for new data services against which the Group will deploy its 3G networks. Both currently use 2.5G technology and will be upgraded to 3G, enabling faster download speeds, which will enhance customer experience and productivity. In December 2002, J-Phone Vodafone became the first subsidiary in the Group to commercially launch 3G services. Furthermore, J-Phone Vodafone customers with an enabled handset can not only use 3G services within Japan, but can also roam internationally on 2G networks with the convenience of being able to use the same telephone number as they do at home. In Europe, the Group's 3G programme continues, with networks being rolled out according to plan and technical testing underway. The availability of suitable handsets remains a key issue and supplies of these are expected to be limited until 2004. 3G services are expected to be available to customers before the end of the 2004 financial year, dependent on when networks and handsets are of sufficient quality to offer such services to the Group's customers. Κάποιες πηγές... Vodafone K.K. will charge an average Y100 for up to 10 kilobytes of data transmitted in the 26 countries. It will then charge Y5 per one kilobyte of data for more than 10 kilobytes of data transmitted. Όπως κατάλαβες... τα διαφημιστικά μηνύματα για τα οποία μιλούσες προβλήθηκαν... David Beckham (φωτογραφίες σε διαφορετικές περιοχές της Μ. Βρετανίας & αποστολή μέσω MMS). Δεν αφορούσε ακριβώς το 3G. "Κυκλοφορούσε", όμως, η φήμη! Δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω, αυτό το αυτί σου... από ποια εταιρία "άκουσε" τη φήμη! :confused::confused: Η ίδια φήμη υπήρχε αρχές Σεπτέμβρη και στην Αγγλία... :mad: :mad: Αλλά... προβλήθηκε το ίδιο spot. :rolleyes: Πρόκειται για την "έναρξη" μίας νέας σειράς τηλ/κών μηνυμάτων.... και φυσικά κάποια στιγμή θα καταλήξουν στο 3G! Πότε? :D Καλύτερα να το "μάθουμε" από την ΤV (μην περιμένετε άμεσα. Tο Vodafone 3G θα απευθύνεται σε πρώτη φάση σε εταιρικούς πελάτες, καθώς και σε "πορωμένους-ψαγμένους" κινητο-friends :wacko: , ενώ θα υπάρχει ένας περιορισμένος αριθμός 3G κινητών, πλην της νέας "office mobile card") ... Τα νέα λοιπόν... από την TV (όταν έρθει εκείνη η ώρα). Με συγχωρείς όμως... μπορείς με επιχειρήματα να με πείσεις ως υποψήφιο συνδρομητή 3G να αγοράσω το "προϊόν" της TIM, σήμερα?
