Dear forum members,
This is the official WWE AND PTG WM5.0 CE OS 5.1.195 Build 14929.2.2.1 Rom image for Mio P550B.
Keep this rom image in order to flash it when sending the device for service.
- The MS_IPL, Uboot, XIP, OS and SYS are the original Mio P550B factory Rom Version R05.3.0101.0331
- Before flashing make a backup of your files.

C. Instructions to successfully flash the rom image
1. Make sure that Mio P550 can be connected and synchronized with your PC / Laptop.
2. Turn on the device while holding down the joystick.
In case the device was on, hold down the joystick and press the Reset button.
In both cases you enter to Uboot Menu.
3. Form the Uboot Menu select 0=Image Ugrade Tools and press joystick.
4. From Image Ugrade tools menu select 0=Image by USB and press joystick.
5. If you do not have already installed the USB drivers, it is time to do so.
USB drivers are in the download folder with this name.
6. After USB driver installation run dnw5.0e.exe.
7. Select Configuration>Options and make sure that USB Port download address is 0x3000000.
8. Select USB port>Status and see if the USB info screen is displayed.
9. Select USB port>Transmit and open Mio_P550_WWE_AND_PTG_WM_5.0_OS_5.1.195_B_14929.2.2.1_by_ansar.nb0.
a. Wait for the process to finish, disconnect and power of your device.
b. Hold up the joystick and power on your device in order to perform a hard reset.
c. Release joystick after splash screen is seen.

Εύγε ansar! Εάν σε δούμε και σε πιο εμπορικές σήμερα συσκευές... σίγουρα θα έχουν μεγάλη ζήτηση οι ROM σου! ;)
Ευχαριστώ για την υποστήριξη και ελπίζω να υπάρξουν (σύντομα?) δοκιμαστές χρήστες (beta testers) για το σκοπό αυτό.

Είναι υπό έκδοση WΜ6.1 Professional WWE ROM με OS.5.2.21109 Build 21109.1.6/21109.5.0.0
To XIP είναι ήδη μεταφερμένο (ported) από το TYTN II (Kaiser) και σε λίγο καιρό θα είναι και η ROM.
Εάν υπάρχει ενδιαφέρον για Ελληνική ROM, στείλτε post εδώ.

μπορεις να μου πεις πως θα κανω την αναβαθμιση της ρομ στο μιο μου,ως αρχαριος που ειμαι..
Υπάρχει readme.txt σε πολύ απλά Αγγλικά, στο αρχείο .zip που κάνουμε download.
Δεν έχω χρόνο για μετάφραση, πρέπει να γίνουν WΜ6.1 σε 4 (επί 2 SeaDragon, R75) ακόμη γλώσσες για το Α701,
και ακόμη μερικά άλλα PDA στις ίδιες με το Α701 γλώσσες.
Επίσης πρέπει να γίνει μετάβαση και στα WΜ 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 κλπ.

Μη δοκιμάσεις καμμία rom που δεν προορίζεται για το δικό σου pda, διαφορετικά μπορεί να μεταβληθεί σε τούβλο (brick).

Δεν έχω αυτή τη συσκευή Trinity, πιθανά στο μέλλον ναι.
Οταν ανέβει η rom, κάποιος που κανει rom για το Trinity μπορεί πιθανά να την υλοποιήσει.

καλησπερα,
φιλε spok τσεκαρε την v3 sleuth wwe.....νομιζω οτι ειναι πολυ καλη. και αυτοματα βρισκει provider και περναει ρυθμισεις.
αντε αυριο θα βαλω καποια αλλη ρομ....
Ειναι δυνατό να δοκιμάσει κανείς τη Kaiser BETA rom στη διεύθυνση αυτή : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=384870 και να αναφέρει ευρήματα ?

Καλημέρα,
Μετά την έκδοση wwe 6.1/6.5 custom roms για A701, Hermes, Herald και Kaiser ακολουθούν εκδόσεις για Mio P350/P550/A501/A702.
Είναι ήδη 95% έτοιμη για P550 και θα ολοκληρωθεί σύντομα.
