και εμενα ειναι το ονειρο μου αλλα η 999, ομως θελω να αλλαξω 2-3 σουπερμοτο να κανω την πλακα μου, και μετα να αραξω σε αυτην

δεν εξηγηται αλλιως, η ducati θελει να με κανει κλεφτη. τι εργαλειο...

Επίσημες photos του αντικαταστάτη των 999/749 μετά από δύο χρόνια εξέλιξης....αναμένεται και πιο δυνατή έκδοση,η 1198 (180hp/1200cc) και η S (ελαφρύτερη/& με καλύτερο κράτημα) έκδοση της 1098 (1099cc) καθώς και η limited 1098 S Tri-Colore...ακόμα και η βασική έκδοση η 1098 είναι πιο γρήγορη από την 999R!!...σύμφωνα με insiders η ducati έχει δοκιμάσει την καινούρια 1098 με τους ανταγωνιστές της και διαπίστωσε ότι μπορει να κατατροπώσει σε μια ευθεία την Suzuki GSX R1000 κάτι που δεν μπορούσε να κάνει η 999.

The 1098 capacity is a result of a new highly ‘over-square’ design with a 104mm bore and a relatively short 64.7mm stroke. The cylinder heads have been completely redesigned and, when combined with advanced MotoGP induction technology, enable even the standard specification 1098 to produce more power than the previous extreme Testastretta ‘R’ engine. The Evoluzione features racing size ‘R’ valves (42mm inlet, 34mm exhaust), operated by radical ‘R’-derived camshafts. The new cylinder heads also benefit from fewer components and include magnesium covers to achieve a staggering weight saving of over 3kg (6.5lbs). With a 30% increase in air flow over conventional throttle bodies and the new elliptical shape contributes an incredible 5hp increase to the record-breaking motor, 1098 owners will be the first to feel the power of this MotoGP technology on the road. The Testastretta Evoluzione is the lightest Ducati Superbike engine ever, thanks to close scrutiny of every engine component. A total of 5kg (11.1lbs) has been saved by reducing the weight of many components, including transmission gears and the gear selector drum as well as the oil pump and primary gears.

για το καινουριο 749 ξερουμε τπτ sakiss?λενε οτι θα παει στα 800 κυβικα (αρα λογικα θα το λενε 798,ωστε να υπαρχει περιθωριο μετα για 799,οπως κ 1099 κλπ)

απο τη στιγμη που ανεβηκε και στο επισημο site της ducati πρεπει να το πιστεψω.:confused:

μοιαζει πολυ στο desmosedici, αν και με ξενερωνει πολυ η υπερβαση του κυβισμου πανω απο το λιτρο.

αλλωστε ειναι κατι που η ducati πριν 2-3 χρονια δηλωνε οτι δε θα εκανε ποτε...:mad:

καταραμενε ανταγωνισμε...:mad:

και εμενα με ξενερωσε αυτο με τον κυβισμο, αλλα αυτο που ειπε ο φιλος παραπανω με το gsxr πολυ μου αρεσε

Φημολογείται πως το 1098 θα κυκλοφορήσει σε τρεις εκδόσεις. Η μια θα είναι η στάνταρ, η δεύτερη θα φέρει το διακριτικό "S" έχοντας αναρτήσεις Ohlins και η τρίτη έκδοση θα είναι η "Tricolore" στα χρώματα της ιταλικής σημαίας ενώ θα έχει τα προτερήματα του "S" αλλά και εξατμίσεις Termignoni!

κανενα νεο για την 848???
Σύμφωνα με τον Minoli,πρόεδρο της Ducati δεν προβλέπεται έκδοση μικρότερου κυβισμού μέσα στο 2007 αλλά η 848 έκδοση θα είναι διαθέσιμη μέσα στο 2008 μόνο εαν υπάρξει ικανοποιητική ζήτηση.

In 1926, two brothers Adriano and Marcello Ducati founded Societa Scientifica Radio Brevetti Ducati in Bologna. The company producing tubes, condensers and other radio components. The cornerstone of a new factory in Borgo Panigale was laid in 1935. During the war, the factory was a target for Allied bombing. Although badly hit more than once production was maintained. About this time Aldo Farinelli began working with the small Turinese firm SIATA (Societa Italiana per Applicazioni Tecniche Auto-Aviatorie) with the idea of developing a small engine that could be mounted on a bicycle. The noise of the engine's short stubby exhaust inspired the name "Cucciolo" (Italian: "little puppy"). Barely one month after the official liberation of Italy, SIATA announced their intention to sell Cucciolo engines to the public; it was the first new automotive design to appear in postwar Europe. The first Cucciolos were available only as a motor to be attached by the owner to a normal bicycle. Some businessmen bought the little engines in quantity, installed them in frames and offered these complete units for sale.

 

By 1950, with 200,000 Cucciolos already sold, Ducati finally offered its own complete motorcycle based on the successful little pushrod engine. The collaboration with SIATA resulted in a well designed little 60 cc bike. This first Ducati motorcycle weighed 98 pounds and had a top speed of 40 mph. Its 15 mm carburettor gave a little under 200 mpg. In the 1950's, Ducati officially dropped the "Cucciolo" name, replacing it with "55M" or "65TL".

 

The market was moving though, towards bigger motorcycles and Ducati's IRI management felt diversification was the only answer. Ducati made an impression at the early 1952 Milan Show, introducing the Ducati 65 TS cycle and the Cruiser, the world's first four-stroke scooter. Despite being described as the most interesting new machine at the 1952 show, the Cruiser was not a great success. A couple of thousand were made over a two year period before being withdrawn from production.

 

In 1953, management decided to split the operation into two separate entities, Ducati Meccanica SpA, and Ducati Elettrotecnica, under separate management. (Ducati Elettrotecnica became Ducati Energia SpA in the eighties.)

 

Dr. Guiseppe Montano took over as head of Ducati Meccanica SpA and the old Borgo Panigale factory was modernized with government assistance. By 1954, Ducati Meccanica SpA was producing 120 bikes a day, but cheap cars were entering the markets, and sales for many motorcycle manufacturers would decline.

 

From the 1960s to the 1990s the Spanish company MotoTrans licensed Ducati engines and produced motorcycles which were recognizably Ducati derived, however, incorporating many subtle differences. MotoTrans' most notable machine was the 250cc 24 Horas (Spanish: 24 hours), a 285cc version of which won the Barcelona twenty-four hour race one year.
