The new device looks like a traditional compact digital camera at the front side and like a phone at the back side. This might be the first camera in a phone to get close to the quality of the consumer digital cameras. It uses the same lens with sliding design found on all Pentax cameras from the Optio S series. The Samsung SPH-2300 dimensions are 113 x 51 x 26 mm and it weights 132 g. The expected price of the device is about $700. We can only hope that Samsung will release a version of SPH-2300 for the GSM networks.
