Hi Crisbal, thank you - I restored it but it doesn't work. Now I will try to follow a different procedure. It involves using the original Stock ROM 5.9.020S (so I am saving all data of my phone in my PC). If I will solve it, I will inform here as well, as others might solve their faulty fingerprint sensor too!

Now I am curious.. is your wife's FP sensor working? And if yes, when was this X820 bought? Mine was ordered from grossoshop in december and delivered to me in mid January But, in general, I agree with you: this is a great phone for the price, except few small things (fingerprint, NFC missing, no 3.5 jack, and Nougat still not released). I don't know.. maybe too much milliampere from software to this hardware component and it burns out... This could be the only explanation...

Which phone do you have? x820? and which ROM version were you using when it stopped to work? Did you done anything in particular at the time the fingerprint sensor stopped? I was deleting already stored fingerprint (using the EUI 5.9.020s - probably it was either Cuoco or SmallEUI, now I don't remember). The delete was successful, but from that point on, when placing one finger over the sensor, I was unable to feel the vibration.. @to all : if you have your fingerpint sensor working, just in case, do yourself a favour : save your firmware partition with TWRP 3.0.2 or TWRP 3.1.0 . If it stops working, you might restore your own backup.. I didn't it and now I regret it

Dear amdnikos, many thanks for your prompt help! I restored your backup but still my fingerprint sensor doesn't work. Just to check... I have LeMax x820 with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Which version do you have? Also, which ROM are you using at the time? I am on ResurrectionRemix 5.7.4 (as I had issues with EUI - email notification always too late). Thank you again for your help. I should really consider that my FP is broken, even if I don't understand why it worked, and stopped to work just when I decided to remove the stored fingerprints to record them again.. I can't really correlate this action (done on EUI 5.9.020) and a hardware issue...

Hi all, excuse me if I write in English, but I don't speak Greek. Three weeks ago, while deleting the fingerprints and adding them again, my fingerprint stopped to work. Previously, when putting a finger on the sensor, I felt a short vibration. Now I don't feel anything.
