Συζήτηση 18 Ιούλ. 2007 ΣΗΜΕΡΑ 13 οκτ. 2007 ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΑ Συμμαχία Ομίλου Σιακόλα και ΜΤΝ Τηλεπικοινωνιακή συγχώνευση Αντιμέτωπη με ένα ισχυρό αντίπαλό της στον τομέα των Τηλεπικοινωνιών πρόκειται να βρεθεί σύντομα η ΑΤΗΚ. Εταιρείες που δραστηριοποιούνται στον τομέα βρίσκονται εδώ και αρκετούς μήνες σε διαπραγματεύσεις με στόχο τη συνένωση των δυνάμεων και των υπηρεσιών τους. Βασικός στόχος η παροχή ενός ολοκληρωμένου πακέτου υπηρεσιών, τηλεφωνίας (σταθερής και κινητής), διαδικτύου και τηλεόρασης, κάτι που μέχρι σήμερα μόνο η ΑΤΗΚ προσφέρει. Ήδη πολύ κοντά στην ολοκλήρωση συμφωνίας συμμετοχής στο κεφάλαιο της εταιρείας κινητής τηλεφωνίας MTN (πρώην Areeba) βρίσκεται ο Όμιλος Σιακόλα. Χτες με επίσημη ανακοίνωσή της η ιθύνουσα εταιρεία του Ομίλου, N. K. Shacolas (Holdings), μετά από δημοσίευμα της Financial Mirror, ανέφερε ότι βρίσκεται σε διαπραγματεύσεις με τη ΜΤΝ Group Ltd για κοινοπραξία (joint venture) σε σχέση με την ΜΤΝ Κύπρου. Τα δύο μέρη ακόμη να συμφωνήσουν ως προς το ποσοστό που θα κατέχουν στο νέο σχήμα και ειδικότερα ποιος θα έχει τον τελικό έλεγχο, δηλαδή πάνω από το 50%. Η εξαγορά ποσοστού στη ΜΤΝ Κύπρου, που ενδεχομένως να ολοκληρωθεί τις επόμενες εβδομάδες, δεν θα είναι το τελικό βήμα. Μόλις ολοκληρωθεί η συμφωνία, το αμέσως επόμενο βήμα, πιθανότατα θα είναι και η απορρόφηση της OTEnet Κύπρου. Στο μετοχικό κεφάλαιο της οποίας έχει συμφέρον ο Όμιλος Σιακόλα, τον έλεγχο τον έχει ο ΟΤΕ Ελλάδας. Σε κατοπινό στάδιο, πληροφορίες του "Π" αναφέρουν ότι θα γίνει προσπάθεια για συμμαχία με εταιρεία που δραστηριοποιείται στον τομέα της ψηφιακής τηλεόρασης. Παλαιότερα τέθηκε θέμα συνεργασίας με την PrimeTel, αλλά φαίνεται πως η προσπάθεια ναυάγησε. Όπως αναφέρεται στη χθεσινή ανακοίνωση, σε περίπτωση που ολοκληρωθεί η συμφωνία, μεταξύ N. K. Shacolas (Holdings) και MTN Cyprus, θα υπάρχει προοπτική απόκτησης από τη δημόσια εταιρεία Cyprus Trading Corporation μέρους από το ποσοστό του κεφαλαίου που θα έχει αποκτηθεί από τη N. K.
