Ποτέ δεν είναι αργά ;) κι εγώ ακριβώς ίδια περίπτωση. Μαθαίνω μόνος μου ακουστική (με βοηθάει λίγο και ο πατέρας μου :p ) κι εγώ θέλω να μάθω για χόμπι, είδομεν :) Πάντως είσαι μεγάλος για να αρχίσεις κλασσική, και καλύτερα να αρχίσεις ακουστική-ηλεκτρική, που θα μάθεις πιο γρήγορα.

Τα πράγματα είναι απλά: Η έννοια μπαλάντα χρησιμοποιήθηκε αρχικά για τα αφηγηματικά τραγούδια (πχ Hotel California). Όμως στο κοινό επικράτησε η άποψη ότι μπαλάντα σημαίνει ερωτικό τραγούδι, δλδ σαν blues, slow κλπ (αυτές είναι ασαφέστατες ορολογίες βέβαια) Οπότε μπαλάντα σήμερα σημαίνει το αργό, ερωτικό τραγούδι. Κατηγορία metal μπαλάντα δεν υφίσταται (τουλάχιστον για μένα), απλά γιατι οι μπαλάντες υπάγονται στην κατηγορία του rock. Αυτα :D
