Ψυχή μου σήμερα μεσίστιες σημαίες υψώνω

Γιατί κουράστηκαν τα μάτια μου να βλέπουνε πόνο

Στης ζωής, κάθε πτυχή και κάθε έκφανση

Λυπάμαι αλλά σήμερα αναβάλλεται η έπαρση

Δεν θα κυματίσεις για λίγο στον ουρανό

Ενός λεπτού σιγή δεν καλύπτει τον οδυρμό των παιδιών

Των χωρισμένων οικογενειών, των μικρών ορφανών και των νεκρών τους γονιών

Πενθώ για άστεγους που κοιμούνται στα παγκάκια

Για γερούς που πέθαναν απ'το κρύο σε σοκάκια

Πενθώ, για τα τόσα ναρκωτικά και για όλα αυτά τα ασφυκτικά που μένουν μήνες μυστικά
