Mac δεν έχω οπότε δεν μπορώ να σου πω από τα σχόλια των χρηστών πάντως βλέπω ότι δουλεύει μια χαρά τώρα για back up κάποια tools το έχουν όπως του wugfresh που έχω δει εναλλακτικά παρε back up στον υπολογιστή σου

Καλησπέρα, έβαλα τον elemental αλλά δεν μου δουλεύει το double tap για το άνοιγμα της οθόνης...

Επίσης τον έβαλα με το supersu 2.52 δεν χρησιμοποίησα το systemless root υπάρχει περίπτωση να φταίει αυτό;

 

Άκυρο... Μια χαρά δουλεύει εγώ δεν είχα πατήσει σωστά στην ρύθμιση.

Δεν έχει καθόλου ή αν έχει είναι αμελητέο το drain με dt2w, ο dev του elemental x είχε δώσει αν θυμαμαι μια τιμή γύρω στο 0.06 ή 7 αν ώρα Edited January 13, 2016 by Stef08

Και αφού ρωτησες αν τα έκανες όλα καλά ...αφού bootαρισε τα έκανες μια χαρά :D

τώρα αυτό δεν είναι απάντηση! Εγώ και την περασμένη φορά σου έδωσα την πηγή από τον ίδιο τον chainfire!!! Εσύ οφείλεις να μας πεις πως βγάζεις τέτοια συμπεράσματα και μαλιστα τα γράφεις ως απάντηση σε τρίτους. :) Ακόμα και με το toolkit του wugfresh να το κάνεις, δεν υπάρχει emulator κτλ...

Alright guys, this is most likely going to be the last time I need to post this since @atl4ntis has gotten it figured out for how he wants to do updates, hopefully this is not too intrusive or unnecessary! I'll be linking this and I will fully update this as time goes on, depending on how things change. Let me know if there are any issues.

 

PLEASE READ THE PROCESS ALL THE WAY THROUGH SO YOU UNDERSTAND EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING. If you have questions, either PM me or post here. I'd rather you not bootloop your phone :)

 

Getting all the way up to date:

YOU MUST BE ON AT LEAST THE LATEST STABLE VERSION TO DO THIS PROCESS! If you are not on the latest stable, following the below steps will get you onto the latest stable then the beta.

 

1. Download the latest beta zip, your custom kernel (optional), and SuperSU (if you want root, see below) onto your phone (make sure the kernel is up to date for the latest Android version of Cataclysm).

2. Boot into TWRP and make a backup (optional but HIGHLY recommended).

3. Flash Cataclysm zip.

4. Flash your custom kernel and SuperSU (optional; read note below on choosing root and which one to flash first).

5. Reboot and profit.

If you are on a Cataclysm build date on/after November 18th but not the latest stable OR stock Android 6.0:

How to update bootloader, radio, and vendor:

1. Boot into the bootloader.

2. Download the latest factory image for your device.

3. Compare the versions of the current bootloader/radio to your bootloader/radio (name of the file). If they are the same, you are good. If not, continue on.

4. You will need to flash the latest vendor image whenever there is a new build number (e.g. MMB29K to MMB29P).

5. Make sure you have fastboot set up (Windows/Linux and Mac).

6. Navigate to the folder with your files in them and type whichever commands you need into your terminal, one at a time:

fastboot flash bootloader name_of_bootloader.img

fastboot reboot-bootloader

fastboot flash radio name_of_radio.img

fastboot flash vendor vendor.img

Which zip do I flash first? Kernel or SuperSU?

Systemless root works off patching the kernel's ramdisk, which is done when you flash SuperSU. But if it detects a patched ramdisk, it will restore a non-patched kernel then patch it. This comes into play with kernel updates, not so much ROM updates but I figured I would put the information here. What this all means for you is if the kernel doesn't have its own ramdisk but uses the one built into the ROM (like ElementalX), you can flash SuperSU first. If the kernel does have its own ramdisk (like Franco Kernel), you must flash the kernel first.

 

Installing a kernel first time OR if there is a ROM update:

Uses ROM ramdisk: Does not matter which one you flash first.

Uses its own ramdisk: Must flash the kernel first.

 

If the kernel has an update:

Uses ROM ramdisk: Just flash the kernel, no SuperSU necessary.

Uses its own kernel: Must flash the kernel then SuperSU afterwards.

 

It is up to you/your kernel developer to tell you if they include their own ramdisk. I gave two examples of popular kernels that I know about.[/hide]

How to root:

There is a lot of information here with rooting on Marshmallow. I will try to keep all of this up to date but you should always be checking Chainfire's thread here to verify and get more info as he is 100x smarter than I am.

 

I built this like a flow chart; you can read it all or read as you need. Please note, I have tested this as much as I can and provide this so you have a one stop shop but if you have problems, please direct your questions and posts either to me via PM or to the SuperSU Beta thread so Chainfire can see the posts and you can be properly helped.

 

Currently, there are two methods of rooting: system root and systemless root. Here is what you need to know before you choose which one to install:

System root: This is the OG root. This is what you are used to. It is stable and it works without issues. Choose this if you don't know much about rooting and don't care about Android Pay.

Systemless root: This is the new root on the block. This root does not modify the system partition, which allows it to pass the checks for Android Pay (at the moment, subject to change at any time). It also allows of OTAs from Google but that is irrelevant here. Some apps MAY NOT work with this. Either let the developer know so they can fix it or switch to system root.

 

How do I know which one I have currently?

Go into SuperSU > Settings > System > Install SuperSU into /system. If it says SuperSU is already a system app, you have system root. If it says not currently possible with systemless root, you have systemless root.

What do I download?

If you chose system root (pick one, only compatible with December 14th build and later):

1. SuperSU 2.52 if you want a stable version with no issues.

2. SuperSU 2.64 and up if you want the latest version. There may be bugs.

If you chose systemless root (pick one):

1. SuperSU 2.61 (Android Pay with work out of the box).

2. SuperSU 2.62-3 (must delete /su/xbin_bind with a root explorer and reboot before setting up Android Pay).

3. SuperSU 2.64 and up (must type echo SYSTEMLESS=true>>/data/.supersu (no quotes) into a terminal emulator (or TWRP > Advanced > Terminal Command > Select) before you flash to get systemless root AND follow the note in step 2 for Android Pay to work).

A note about SuperSU 2.64 and up:

Starting with SuperSU 2.64, system root is prioritized during installation. This means if rooting via /system modification is possible (and it will be with December 14th and newer), it will do that instead of systemless root. This is nice because it means the installation process should be more universal (instead of having two separate zips). However, you have to explicitly choose systemless root by following the note next to the download for Android Pay to work.

How to install?

Flash it normally in the above processes. HOWEVER, DO NOT FLASH BETWEEN SYSTEMLESS AND SYSTEM WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE BELOW PROCESSES. If you do, I will laugh at you as you have issues.

You should be able to flash from any systemless root to another systemless root without issues, same for system. However, I'd recommend reading Chainfire's post that I linked above as he will have instructions for updating. Also direct upgrade questions to the SuperSU thread above.

How to switch between system and systemless root:

Going from system to systemless:

1. Flash UnSU (removes SuperSU from /system, special thanks to @osm0sis)

2. Flash your custom kernel (if you have one) and the systemless SuperSU you chose from above (see note about which to flash first).

3. Reboot and profit.

Going from systemless to system:

1. Delete /data/.supersu

2. Uninstall SuperSU (Settings > Full unroot; if you get force closes or reboot, just ignore them and boot into recovery)

3. Boot into TWRP.

4. Dirty flash Cataclysm (Mod if possible, Stable if not).

5. Flash your custom kernel (if you have one).

6. Flash the system SuperSU from above.

7. Reboot and profit.

Problems with Layers? (systemless only)

NOTE: I tested this on SuperSU 2.65. It may work on other versions; however, if it does, update to SuperSU 2.65 then test.

 

Layers has an issue with Busybox not being in /system/xbin. This should be fixed in a future update to the Layers Manager that does not require Busybox. If Busybox is installed in /system/xbin, Android Pay will not work. People recommend installing Busybox to /su/bin; however, Layers does not seem to recognize this if you use Stericson's version from the Play Store (as it does not properly uninstall from /system/xbin). I tested this process below and Layers works fine with Android Pay.

 

1. Make sure you are on a systemless version, preferably SuperSU 2.65 if possible.

2. Download and flash this special Busybox installer in TWRP (special thanks to @osm0sis).

3. Reboot and profit.

 

This installer will remove a previous version of Busybox from /system and install it to /su/xbin (then /su/bin if it can't do that) so that the binaries in /system/bin can function properly. This should allow Layers to work with systemless root.

If you are coming from a SuperSU 2.60 system-less install, or were not rooted at all, then you can just flash the ZIP without any special prior instructions.

 

If you have one of those devices that refuse to remount system r/w in Android such as the Nexus 6P, but you do want to do this, "echo FSTABSYSTEMRW=true>>/data/.supersu" in recovery root shell before a SuperSU ZIP flash will patch the boot image in such a way that remounting will work. This feature itself breaks OTA compatibility, regardless of if you end up writing to /system or not.

 

Both of these features are likely temporary.

 

εγώ καταλαβαίνω ότι οι εντολές στον emulator είναι αν θες οπωσδήποτε r/w.

Anyway, σαφέστατα και το systemless έχει πλεονεκτήματα , όπως ΟΤΑ, εξού και το βγάλανε...αλλιώς θα μέναν με την μέθοδο που πατσάρει το system..Σαφέστατα και έχει δουλειά ακόμα..:)

Βρε Νίκο ξέρω ότι είσαι ενημερωμένος και βοηθάς πολλά παιδιά στην συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση όμως σου έχει ξεφύγει η διαδικασία, το note που παρεθεσες αφορά τις εκδόσεις su από 2.60 ως 2.63 από την έκδοση 2.64 και μετά αν φλασαρεις τον su χωρίς εντολές σου εγκαθιστά ένα ωραιότατο system root και φυσικά δεν έχει να κάνει με το r/w που αναφέρεις, δεν είναι δύσκολο πιστεύω να το καταλάβεις,ενημερωτικά να σου πω ότι αν αποφασισω να βοηθήσω κάποιο παιδί στο νήμα αυτό που θα του πω εκτός από το να διαβάσω και να ξανα διαβάσω το έχω ήδη κάνει εγώ στο τηλέφωνο μου ούτε το είδα απλά ούτε το άκουσα,οσον αφορά τα θετικά του systemless σειρά μου να γελασω....το OTA;;;;; lol lol lol φαντασου να έχεις custom rom custom recovery και να περιμένεις OTA ,ακόμα και stock να είσαι αφού μπηκες στον κόπο να ξεκλειδωσεις το να περιμένεις OTA είναι τουλάχιστον αστείο επί τη ευκαιρία εγώ που λέω ότι το systemless δεν χρειάζεται εκτός κάποιον ειδικών περιπτώσεων πχ Android pay τρέχω systemless έτσι επειδή θέλω να το δω

Στο φανάρι έγραφα κανα δύο κορναρισματα ήταν ο απολογισμός, το ξέρω ότι παραθέτουμε το ίδιο τοπικ απλά σου ξέφυγαν οι δύο γραμμές παρακάτω που εξηγεί τι γίνετε από την 2.64 και μετά με το καλό να σου έρθει το τηλέφωνο είναι πραγματικά καταπληκτική συσκευή και θα είναι καλό να έχουμε στα τοπικ μας γνώστες σαν και εσένα

Στέφανε δεν έκανα τπτ στον terminal emulator. Μια χαρά παίζει το root 2.66. Αυτό το ζητάει αν θυμάμαι καλά η Pure Nexus rom. Στην Cataclysm μια χαρά παίζει χωρίς τίποτα το systemless. Δεν ξέρω προς τι τόσος θόρυβος με το systemless. Κάθε άλλο εμένα μου φαίνεται πιο εύκολο.

Επίσης αν ήσουν πριν στην 2.61 και απλά έκανες update σε 2.66, systemless θα σου περάσει την 2.66

Το θέμα είναι όταν ρουταρει για πρώτη φορά η προερχεσαι από system root ο φίλος πιο πάνω που ρουταρε πρώτη φορά με 2.65 μπορεί να σου επιβεβαιώσει αν έχει system ή systemless root.δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση αν ρουταρεις από την αρχή ή πας από system σε systemless να μην χρειαστούν εντολές είτε στην pure είτε στην cata είτε όπου άλλου θες

Δεν το ξέρω αυτό καθώς δεν πήγα ποτέ σε system root αφού υπήρχε το systemless. Έτσι και αλλιώς επίσης πριν περάσω Cata έκανα πέρασμα της αρχικής ρομ από την αρχή. Έτσι για το καλό.

Όχι Κώστα κάτσε να τα πούμε πάλι ,πριν ο chainfire είχε δύο zip ένα για system (2.52) και ένα για systemless (2.60 2.61 2.62 2.63) από το 2.64 και μετά συμπεριέλαβε και τις δύο μεθόδους σε ένα zip , μετά την 2.64 αν φλασαρεις κανονικά έχεις το παλιό καλό system root ,αν πριν φλασαρεις γράψεις echo SYSTEMLESS=true>>/data/.supersu στον terminal emulator της twrp έχεις systemless,μπορείς να πας στην εφαρμογή του su ρυθμίσεις κανείς scroll down κάποια στιγμή θα δεις που γράφει με αχνά γράμματα να γίνει ο su εφαρμογή συστήματος, αν είσαι με το system root θα γράφει ο su είναι ήδη εφαρμογή συστήματος αν είσαι systemless θα γράφει not currently available in systemless root

@stef φλασαρα τον 2.65 γιατί το έκανα απευθείας μέσα από το lx multitool που έκανα unlock, root και όλα αυτά από υπολογιστή Mac, και δεν εψαξα για πιο καινούρια έκδοση SuperSU η αλήθεια είναι. Εμένα στο screenshot που έχεις παραπάνω, το SuperSU είναι εφαρμογή συστήματος.
