Ferrari SUV Rendered Yet Again A Ferrari SUV might take some getting used to. The idea has been around for some years and this is the freshest artist rendition. It's an SUV by the definition of a vehicle with four doors, raised ride height, mostly fitted with a 4WD system and takes the shape of a station wagon/ tourer. The vehicle with the codename "Ferrari FS 599 Fuoristrada" will be constructed out of aluminium and carbon fiber composites for weight-efficiency. Engines come from the naturally aspirated V8 found in the California and the 599 GTB's V12 powerplant. They produce in excess of 400hp and 600hp each respectively. While the latter's figure seems slightly excessive, Ferrari will not manufacture an SUV that will deliver average performance. It has to be the most powerful and by extension the fastest around. Renderings of a Ferrari SUV have appeared before based on speculation that the Italian company was working on its first ever SUV. At the time Porsche was riding high with the great success of its Cayenne and premium brands like Mercedes-Benz and BMW had been building MLs and X5s for years before. The Ferrari on high boots had been slated for a 2010 Geneva Motor Show debut but as things stand in the world economy there's no clear direction as to whether the project is still going ahead or not. With the recent announcement of an alliance with Ferrari parent Fiat and Chrysler LLC of America new possibilities have arisen. Such possibilities include a common SUV platform that can be shared with Jeep, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari itself. Και όπως όλα δείχνουν, το 2012 με το εμπροσθοκίνητο διθέσιο καμπριολέ SLA η Mercedes θα κάνει το μεγάλο άλμα σε μια νέα κατηγορία. Much like a slider version of the 5 megapixel Cyber-Shot Filippa, but with GPS receiver. The competition for leaked upcoming and unannounced phones continues. In this new edition we present you the Sony Ericsson C903, also known under the codename Frances. The new Cyber-Shot will join the family with 5 megapixel camera, 2.4-inch QVGA screen, GPS and slide design solution. It should be an upgraded version of the SE C901 (Filippa), but there is no info about xenon flash presence. The usual suspect aplications are here: PhotoFix, Face Detection and Smile Shutter.

Official images of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe have just been unofficially unveiled by the guys at AutoBlog.nl who are quite happy about that particular development. For many months the car has been spied and photographed during different phases of its development hidden under various grades of cammo. Mercedes-Benz is expected to officially reveal the car in the sheet metal at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. But for now these are some of the official pictures. Previously known as the CLK, the new E-Class Coupe has gone to great lengths in order to make itself more attractive to a younger buyer. Lots of straight sharp exterior lines and concave/ convex bodywork will establish it as something of a fresh take on the coupe for Mercedes. The front is dominated by a twin-blade chromed grille with a huge Mercedes-Benz three-point star plastered over it. The lower grille features a sporty mesh design flanked by two LED slits on both sides. Overall it gives the impression of either an AMG model or AMG kit. We are inclined to choose the latter because of the two tailpipes instead of four as found in the current CLK 63 AMG. This car even features an integrated rear diffuser and what appears to be rear LED lights. Inside the typical four-seater set up is found. The seats themselves are covered in leather and look to give good lateral support when cornering. Concept: Renault Alpine http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/9127/piclv2.jpg http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/5497/pickm8.jpg Brazilian design student Marcello Felipe Maggioni brings us this rendering of a Renault sports car. The design pays homage to the 1987 Renault Alpine GTA V6 Turbo, a car that in turn had inspired Marcello himself to be a car designer. Several characteristics were taken from the original Alpine GTA in order that a sort of lineage was maintained such that if a modern version of the car were built its history and heritage would be obvious to the eye. A few of these exterior design characteristics include large headlights that droop very low on the front grille. The flowing swoosh behind the C pillar has been retained but changed to suit a more futuristic look. It also serves the purpose of being an air inlet for the engine. The four front headlights are highlighted by the use of two LED light strips above each pair on either side. Rear lights also feature LED technology but with an added 3D effect. The engine is a Renault F1 powerplant modified for road usage. It's there for all to see under a large glass cover just behind the two seats. Marcello is studying a course called Design of Mobility - Transportation Design, at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo, Brazil. Perhaps the day when Renault builds its awaited Alpine sports car, a design similar to his one will emerge.

Spy Photos: Peugeot 408 http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/4318/picek1.jpg These are the first images of an uncloaked Peugeot 408 sedan lurking in the shadows showing a sleek sporty profile with large split 5-spoke rims. The 408 will replace the Peugeot 407 which was launched in 2004 with several body variants such as a station wagon, a two-door coupe and a sedan. From what we can see the 408 looks production ready, begging the possibility of a Geneva Motor Show debut in March. On the other hand it would be a surprise to see an all-new model since the 407 just received a minor facelift in 2008. Regardless, the current 407 range has an assortment of engines ranging from a 114hp (85kW) 1.8-litre petrol to 1.6 HDi turbo diesels to the 2.7 HDi V6 making 201hp (150kW) and a sweet 440Nm of torque.

Αυτά επιτυγχάνονται χάρη σε ένα μικρό κινητήρα βενζίνης, που επαναφορτίζει εν κινήσει τους συσσωρευτές του οχήματος. Εναλλακτικά, με την αρχική φόρτιση από το σπίτι το αυτοκίνητο επιτυγχάνει αυτονομία 64 χιλιομέτρων, με μηδενικές εκπομπές ρύπων. Όσο για την ισχύ, μεταφέρεται στους πίσω τροχούς. Concept: Volvo SC90 http://img164.imageshack.us/img164/4364/volvosc90db0.jpg H σουηδική αυτοκινητοβιομηχανία επιχειρεί με τη νέα σχεδιαστική φιλοσοφία των αυτοκινήτων της, αρχής γενομένης των XC60 και του πρωτότυπου S60 που παρουσιάστηκε στο Ντιτρόιτ,, να προσηλυτίσει νέο κοινό, αλλάζοντας τη σημερινή της εικόνα. Οι εποχές βεβαίως είναι δύσκολες και η μητρική Ford δεν δείχνει διατεθειμένη να επενδύσει αυτό το διάστημα, παρόλα αυτά όμως οι Σουηδοί δεν παύουν να ονειρεύονται ένα καλύτερο μέλλον. Ένας εκ των σχεδιαστών της, ο Νουφόν Μπανσασίν, προχώρησε στη δημιουργία ενός πολυτελούς τετράθυρου κουπέ, με την ονομασία SC90. Αυτό θα μπορούσε να αποτελέσει τη ναυαρχίδα της Volvo, ακολουθώντας τη λογική των Mercedes CLS και Porsche Panamera. Θεωρητικά θα ήταν δυνατό να περάσει στην παραγωγή το 2015, οδηγώντας σχεδιαστικά την εταιρία σε μία πιο «συναισθηματική» κατεύθυνση. [πηγή: 4Τροχοί]
