"The matrix has my money" BOO! :(

I am sorry, I cannot compose greek sentences. I already have a hard time reading greek. Sorry for being off-topic.

As we are approaching the deadline the thread is increasingly lacking new posts. Maybe this post will become the last. :!:

The attacker appears to have spoofed an IP address. This is not unusual. Even the most childish hacking programs can do that. In my opinion you are looking in the wrong place. Your attacker could have easily used an IP from an observation base in Antarctica :) Would you be looking in Antarctica then? Seek other proof, solid proof. Even if you were sure the IP is valid how can you tell "which person on the machine" was it? I hope I have helped. Good luck with your quest.

Τεχνολογικοί προβληματισμοί... γενικά!

Absolutely correct! -
I had bought an Orbit handsfree for ericsson phones. From the first days of operation it was obvious that something was going on with the speaker because there was audible distortion on certain frequencies. In an attempt to correct the problem I opened the unit to try fix the speaker to a solid place, as I was thinking it had got loose. I opened the unit very gently to discover in surprise that it had completely ceased working. Testing with a multimeter proved that the speaker had been broken, although it had not been mechanically or electrically abused. I had no other way than to perform a secondary surgical operation to a spare cheapo Siemens handsfree, take out the speaker unit which fited perfectly in the cabinet of the orbit unit, solder and close the set. Since then I had no any other problems. So in the future I will keep myself apart of that company and/or its products. I had already had enough trouble and frustration that far.

Τεχνολογικοί προβληματισμοί... γενικά!

Chaotic and Messy! The solution is to cut off all wires that connect your house/office to any telco and go totally wireless. In your country, a temporal solution had been given by means of corporate packages from your local GSM operators. It will all be cleared in 1.5 yr from now with the introduction of 3G to the wide masses. -
After a short period of usage, I've decided to end my GPRS subscription to Telestet. Using their service was a rather disappointing experience due to instability reasons and overall poor quality of service. I'm feeling very sorry I had put myself to all this frustration every time the service was experiencing its usual hickups. Now, I'm using a telephone line that is stable, available and cheap. I'm wondering whether I'd accept their service now, even if it was offered free to me. I don't want to see my money and my time being wasted for once more.

Και ποιός μπορεί να εγγυηθεί οτι θα μας ανακοινώσουν τα πραγματικά αποτελέσματα! Μήπως το παίζει Κακλαμανάκης...; :o Kenteris is one of the few among his kind. He has passion and pride and keeps a low profile. Rare to find, easy to spoil. I feel sorry for many of your journalists and for you who easily follow.

Yes. This is the raw and unveiled truth, as it is daily experienced by the average greek civilian. A trully brilliant and revealing post! To some people: There is always time to take the red pill.
-
Provocative Irony! Poor Greek civilian is asked by a fat and overpaid comitee to happily offer his free services to something he is already paying for via excessive taxes and long term international loans. If you want to care about your country, wake up and look what is happening with uncontrolled immigration, to what is happening with your neighbor country, Turkey. See the exponential rise of your national debt and the misery of your financial state for decades in the past and in the future. Yet want to talk about olympic games and volunteerism? Only a fool would do.

I assumed price had dropped in the meantime. I was mistaken. Thank you for the second time.
-
Thank you for your reply, kinitoeidimonas. Do you also know the retail price of S500, without subscription to any network? I would greatly appreciate this information.

It is the usual attitude when there is no other argument to oppose. Consider it as a confirmation you are speaking right.
-
How much does the data cable cost? Is it the same cable as used in S300, V200, etc?

The ocean has waves, regardless you sail it or not. But, would you sail the ocean on a boat having a leak in the hull? I shouldn't.

It can be up to 4Mbps. Mobile manufacturers utilize cheap solutions of up to 115Kbps. Their fault, therefore.

I think RIP is right. Add to the list that the phone displays manufacturing problems causing dead pixels in the display and that its claimed GPRS stability is questionable. So, what remains? A mid-class phone that is overpriced and WILL cause problems to its owner one way or another due to hardware failure or weak implementations of various features in the firmware. If there were a Siemens S55 with a more colourful screen, I'd certainly go for it. Pity there is not.

GB, consider *buying* the old domain from the current owner and redirecting it to .myphone.gr. As most active users have migrated to .myphone.gr, .unwired.gr is quickly rendering useless, so why not reget it for small price, say 150 euro or so? Apparently, even if it is not for sale now, it will be in the near future, unless someone displays stupidity for second time. Sign: your friend, LeChuck. I'll be around.

Nothing like a good CRT above 19'. TFT for tight office, CRT for eye pleasure and joy.
-
Brightly True, indeed. However, a Matrix can not tell us who we are; can we tell if we live in a Matrix? Pretty interesting the scene will be going this era. You know the end, I know the end and we are both laughing.

Interesting development this one is. Declares a clear intention and prescribes the future in two unwired realities. Have you ever read Diaspora?
